Broadway at the Beach Feed

Hello again from Myrtle Beach.

Yay, I actually slept well last night.  This would be a first night I've slept well in a long time, too.  It was nice.  I probably could have slept longer, but I'm at the beach.  I can sleep more at home! Plus, it's fun doing early morning blog posts.  I certainly don't do that at home. :P

I'm waiting for the coffee maker to brew my coffee.  I dearly miss my Keurig! I would already be drinking a cup by now! It's almost done, so I will have it shortly.  The forecast for today was for 80% rain. I expected to look out this morning and see an overcast sky.  Nope, it's sunny.  Yes, there are some clouds, but it's certainly not raining!

Coffee is now done and delicious. I went and looked out and now it's a lot more overcast, but the sun is still trying to peek through.  I was thinking of walking to the Pavilion area today, but I think I'll do it tomorrow when there is no chance of rain.  I don't want to get stuck in a downpour.

I'd like to fix a snack, but my friend is still asleep.  The microwave might wake him up.  I have a few things in my room I can eat.  I have some granola bars which is what I usually eat at home for breakfast.  They are the Nature Valley Sweet and Salty nut bars in almond.  Delicious!

I'm not sure what our plans are for today.  I think we were going to try and get to the thrift stores we missed yesterday.  My favorite Goodwill down here is the one at North Myrtle and we haven't made it there yet.  I always find something good in that one.  I love that particular one.  I'd love to hit Broadway at the Beach too, but if it's raining, he probably won't want to! I guess I'll update later on what we do end up doing!
