Cake! Feed

What a day!

So, I was just lounging around the house today.  I was just relaxing before my workouts.  My friend called and wanted to go to Greensboro.  She didn't want to go by herself, so she asked me if I wanted to go. I did, but I'm broke. Lol  She said she'd get my lunch, and get me something I needed at Whole Foods and I could just pay her back. I agreed and we headed out. 

We ate at this Asian fresh noodle place.  It was pretty good!  It was rice noodles with chicken, cucumbers, onions, carrots, etc.  Very tasty!  We ate and then we went to the first place she needed to go.  We then went to Starbucks and they had my beloved Cascara latte!!!!!!!!!!!!!  They also had some Michigan Cherry oat bars.  I was a happy camper. LOL  They also had some drinkware on sale. I got a nice tumbler.  It's a grande like my other one but I like the lid on this one much better.  Here is a picture....

I love it!  After that, we went to the other store she needed to go to and then she wanted to go to this place that has cake.  there was a line out the door!  She stood in line for a loooooong time.  I noticed a hair place nearby having a sale. $6.99 haircuts!  I desperately needed a cut, so I went ahead and got one.  I really shouldn't have spent the money, but that was a great deal and I knew she would be in line a long time.  I was right! :P

We headed back towards home and drove through a storm.  It was insane there for a bit, but we made it home safely.  I just finished doing my workouts.  Now I'm going to relax a bit, watch an episode of The New Detectives, and then crash! :) 


What day is this?!

Yeah, it's been a long week and longer weekend!  If all goes well, my next post will be somewhere more fun and much happier!  Keep your fingers crossed for me!  I am so looking forward to it!

I did get in a walk today.  It rained a little bit while I was walking, but it wasn't too bad.  I only had to use my umbrella a little bit.  I got home and did my workouts.  Well, all but one.  I ate lunch and did that one.  I had plans to go to my friend's for a birthday dinner, so I headed out for that.  I ate and had cake. CAKE! :D  Then another friend called and needed me to drive him somewhere as his car needed a part.  I left and did that.  I got back here and let him keep the car overnight in case he needed to run out for another part.

I called my first friend back and she was still up, so I went up and spent some more time with her.  I finally got home and now I'm updating my blog so I can pack my laptop! :)  I hope to have a nice picture post tomorrow.  Just watch this spot for that. ^_^


Umm....

Yeah, I haven't posted in days.  Sorry about that.  I mean to but then I get off the laptop and I don't feel like typing up  a post on my phone or getting back on the laptop.  I've been walking and working out everyday as usual.  I got a new bed set for my bed this week.  I have a black frame bed and I got a really cool comforter set that is pink, white, and black.  It's pretty! I love it!  It's a perfect match for my bed.  It came with a sheet set too.  I have those in drying right now.  New sheets are too stiff for me.  I thought I'd wash them and hope they get a bit softer.  I usually wash my bed linens on Sunday, so I thought I'd go ahead and get those washed and then I can put them on tomorrow.

I got in my walk today even though it was 30 out there and they said it felt like 19.  I believe them. BRRR!  I came home and did my workouts.  I went to a friend's house for her mom's birthday dinner.  I had steak and a baked potato.  I don't eat a lot of red meat.  I'm more of a chicken fan.  It was good, though.  I also had a slice of birthday cake. YUM!!!!!!!!!!  I love birthday cake.  I swear if I could, I'd eat it every day. :p  


Hmmm

I don't have a lot to say today.  I got in my walk and workouts as usual.  I went to a friend's house for dinner.  There was cake again.  ^^;  I cannot resist it!  I really need to give up cake and soda.  I've been drinking soda my entire life. It's going to be difficult to stop drinking it.  I do not like tea, so that isn't an option to switch to.  I have considered trying to make Kool Aid with Stevia and seeing how I like that.  I like water, but not with food.  

I guess I can learn to like it with food. I am sure that if I dropped all my soda drinking, I would kick start my weight loss again.  I've cut down drastically since I began working on a healthier me.  Now, I need to try to cut them out completely.  I'm not sure the world is ready for me without my daily Coca Cola!


Oops

Yeah, I totally missed posting yesterday.  Oh well. I'll make up for it now.  I went on my walk today and did my workouts. I went to a friend's house to celebrate her birthday.  I had cake. ^^;  I cannot resist birthday cake.  As long as it is yellow or white cake and has sugary frosting, I'm eating it! :P  The dinner was healthy.  Grilled chicken and a baked potato.  The cake was delicious and then we went to Starbucks.  Oops. :D  I got a Grande peppermint white mocha.  YUMMMMMM

Yeah, I was  bad, but it was totally worth it!  OH! Yesterday I did make another chicken wrap.  This one turned out so much better. I didn't chop up the breast and I didn't heat it as long. I put the BBQ sauce on the wrap, then the chicken, then the cheese and bacon.  I put the tortilla in a pre-heated pan on the stove and let it warm up.  I then took it off and rolled it up.  It was so much better this time.  I think I've found my favorite thing to eat.  I want to get some other kinds of tortillas.  Perhaps whole wheat or corn.  We'll see. Okay, enough rambling for today. :)
