Riverwalk trail Feed

Monday and a new camera!

My friend and I got to walk today.  As we were heading for the trail, he showed me his new digital camera.  Then, he asks me if I know what is different about this one from all his others. I didn't.  It's mine! :D  He gave me a cool Fuji digital camera with 30X zoom.  I can't wait to use it at the beach. :)  I took a few test pictures tonight and I'll take more tomorrow.  Here is one from tonight:

So tired!

I got to bed way too late last night.  I've been feeling it all day.  I did my workouts and got in a walk though!  It was overcast and it had even rained a little bit earlier in the day but it was dry for the entire walk.  It was almost deserted on the trail.  I think everyone thought it was going to rain.  It was pretty nice to be so deserted, actually.  I wish it could always be like that!

I am really, really tired.  I am tempted to just go to bed!  I am sure if I get a good night's sleep tonight, I'll be back on track tomorrow.  Hopefullly I'll be awake enough to post a better post than this. lol 


Walk again and more

We walked again today. At first I wasn't sure if we would be able to because they were calling for rain.  It was overcast for our entire walk, but it didn't rain a drop!  It was nice to get the walk in.  Afterwards, I went by the grocery store and picked up a few items to get me through until Monday.  I am pretty proud of walking today. Why?  Because of today's workouts!  They were extremely hard on my butt, legs, and calves.  Walking after that took some determination, but I did it!

I can't believe that tomorrow is the last day of March.  That means on Saturday I can officially use my new bullet journal.  I have been using both this week since my March tracker is still in the old one.  I'm so ready for my new one.  It's so much lighter. lol  Plus, it's still intact! :P


Layouts!

I'm looking online for inspiration for weekly layouts for my new bujo.  I want to do a two page spread of two weeks.  I have been doing a two page, one week spread.  I want this bujo to last a long time as I've spent a lot of time setting it up so far.  I've found several different layouts that I like.  I just have to choose one and use it!  I have a couple that I'm going back and forth between.  I might do one for one side and the other for the other.  That way I can see them side by side and see how they work for me.  

In other news, I went for a walk tonight.  I just got home a few minutes ago.  My friend needed to run by a store and I went with him. Then he wanted to eat dinner, and it was time for my dinner!  We went to Cici's.   I probably ate a little more than I should have, but it was good!  I am now home and relaxing.  I'm going to put those two spreads in my bujo and see which one I like the best.  I'll be sure to share them soon. :)


Another walk?

Yes, I went for another walk today.  It was fun, but it was a lot harder than yesterday.  I was sore from the walk yesterday.  Plus my abs were feeling the #1000abchallenge I did yesterday!  My friend has other plans tomorrow, so we probably won't walk tomorrow.  I might try and go myself. I'm not sure yet.  It was nice to be walking again!

I did my workouts today and except for the cardio video, they were all upper body.  That was good because everything else was sore. lol  I need to do some work on my bullet journal, and then I think I'm going to soak in a hot tub of water and then relax for the rest of the evening.  I ate dinner a bit early tonight because I was really hungry after walking.  I'll probably snack on a Luna bar later.  I have a few of the white chocolate macadamia ones left.  They are so GOOD!


Ouch!

My body is so sore! I did the #1000abchallenge today plus the other two workouts on the daily calendar.  I then went walking with a friend for 5.2 miles.  I'm really tired and I'm sore, too!  Yesterday was butt day on the calendar, so my butt was sore whille walking.  Tomorrow, sitting up in bed is going to be fun. :(  Oh well, the walk was fun and I found 15c! lol

I'm now sitting on my bed relaxing with the laptop before I put it away and do my bedtime stretching routine.  After that, I'm just going to lie back and rest until time for bed.  I hope I'm not too sore tomorrow!

Long walk day!

I totally made up for not walking yesterday by walking my longer walk today.  It was sunny and nice out there.  It was in the high 60's and it felt great.  I enjoyed my walk.  I think taking a day off was a good thing.  It made me enjoy today's walk even more.  I had to get a prescription at Kmart, so I did the longer walk today.  It was nice, because on my longer walk, I actually get to walk on the Riverwalk trail for a bit.  The only bad thing about the longer walk, is there are a few places where I have to walk on the side of the road.  There isn't a sidewalk for a few small parts of it.  That part isn't fun, but the rest is okay!

I got a box of granola bars while in Kmart and then headed to my house.  I did my workouts and then ate lunch.  I was going to relax for the rest of the evening, but I realized I needed to buy a few things.  I went to Family Dollar and got the things I needed.  It's close by, so I wasn't too afraid to drive up there and back.  My car did fine.  It was nice to be able to carry my stuff home in my car instead of toting it!

I still have some things to do, so I'll go get those done.  I have another post about snail mail.  That is next. :)


Well, well, well....

I guess everyone thinks I died.  I didn't!  I'm still here. I just haven't posted to my blog in a while.  Sorry about that.  I've been working on getting some snail mail pen pals.  I have signed up at four or five.  Unfortunately, people aren't reading the ads.  They are just sending me requests for love/dating/whatever.  I just want friends and I just want snail mail pals.  I have found one good person, though! :)  She is supposed to be writing me so that will be great.  

I had a lot of snail mail pen pals back in the day and I really want to get back into it.  If you know of any legit pen pal sites that aren't dating centric, let me know, okay? Thanks! :)

Yes, I've been walking and working out everyday!  I took my longer walk today because it is supposed to snow here a lot tomorrow and Saturday.  I may miss out on my walks for a few days, so I wanted to get in the longer one.  I also had to go to Kmart to get prescriptions, so that didn't hurt! :P  I will miss my walks, but they won't scrape the sidewalks!  When I walked at the Riverwalk trail, that was great, they actually scraped the trail.  Since I've been walking from home to town and back, I'm having to take a few days off.  

Hopefully it won't be as bad as they are calling for.  It snowed briefly yesterday and there were a few patches of snow on the sidewalks in shady areas.  Not too bad.  The only thing is, they are calling for A LOT.  A lot means I'm not going out there and ice skating on the sidewalk. :p I'm glad I have my workouts.  At least I'll be able to do those inside.  Today's calendar had six workouts on it and one of them was the 100 Burpee burnout. OMG I almost died. I also did the Call Me Maybe squat challenge that I've done every day this month.  

I am now sitting at my desk on the laptop typing this up. OH! My sister stopped by today and brought me some food.  Since they are calling for bad weather, she was afraid I didn't have a lot of food.  She was right! I had some, but not a lot.  Now I have lots of good things.  I have so much good stuff, I have to decide what I want for dinner! :)
