Stretching Feed

Friday fun!

Yeah, I actually had a pretty decent day today!  My friend that bailed on my birthday, made up for it today!  She, her hubby, and myself went to Greensboro, North Carolina.  I had a free meal at P.F. Chang's.  It was buy an entree, and get one free.  I asked my friend and her husband if they wanted to go, and they did!  I got a delicious meal of chicken lo mein. It's my favorite thing to order there.  

My friend and I went to Ulta so I could get my free birthday gift.  It was a eye shadow palette valued at $18!  I don't really wear makeup, but if I do, these are my colors, so that is good.  Hubby went to Sur la Table.  We all met back up and went to Battleground avenue.  We went to a Starbucks there.  I'd never been to this particular Starbucks, so that was pretty cool!  The baristas were really nice and friendly, I got a cascara latte, of course!  I was in a star dash, I needed to buy a latte, a frappuccino, and a tea to get 150 stars.  I don't drink tea at all, so that was going to be a problem.  I asked my friends if they would like one or the other.  My friend wanted a frappuccino and her husband wanted tea. I got them to put the money on my card and buy them with that.  I was able to complete the star dash. YAY!  I was happy.  I got a delicious drink, extra stars, and I got to put a new Starbucks location in my tracker. ^_^

We left Greensboro and then came back to town.  Her son wanted to go get something to eat and wash his car, so she and I rode with him to do that. I visited for a while when we got back and then I came home. I did my stretches and now I'm just catching up on my blog and relaxing.  I'm going to crash before too much longer.  It was a good day, but it was also a long one and I'm tired.  Oh! I got to try cotton candy grapes today.  They are AMAZING. Sooooooooooooo good!


Goodness, is it Friday?

Yeah, I guess it is.  I had the stretch videos on today's calendar.  That was nice.  I did those and ate and then I cooled down for a bit before going out and mowing my front lawn.  It's in the 90's here and it's extremely hot. I should have waited until later in the day to mow, but I wanted to get it done.  Plus, it looks like there is a storm coming up now.  So, if I had waited, the grass would have been too wet to mow.  I'm glad it's done.  The neighbor across the street lets his go for weeks without mowing it.  He finally did it yesterday and I swear there were about five inches of grass clippings in the damn street.  He really needs to mow more often.  It's so annoying!

So, I'm sitting in my room with the air conditioner and the fan going.  I've cooled down quite a bit from being outside.  When I came in, I had to take off every piece of clothing I had on as I was soaked to the skin.  I'm now in nice dry clothes and I just heard thunder! I love storms, so that makes me happy.  As long as the power doesn't go out when I need to fix dinner. lol  I might go out and sit on the porch and enjoy the storm.  I love to sit out there and see the lightning and rain.  It also smells so nice when it rains in the summer!

I am pretty comfy here in my room at the moment, so I might not make it out there :P  I really wanted to go to Starbucks earlier, but my friend didn't want to go. It was way too hot for me to drive my car over there as I didn't plan to stay.  I was just going to get a cascara latte and come back.  In her car with air, this would have been fine.  In my car without air, it would have not! :P


UGH!!!!!!!!

I gave in to my cravings today and ate too much. :(  I'm never going to get to my goal weight or my previous weight at this rate.  I really need to be more proactive with my health.  I keep telling myself I will and then I just don't. I suck! :(  I need to quit wanting the wrong kinds of food.  I have a lot of frozen fruit.  I need to start making smoothies.  I could substitute one of those when I want a snack or something bad for me.  I really need to do that.  I remember at one time, I saw a site that had 'premade' smoothie bags. You put your ingredients (that you use for a smoothie) in a freezer bag and then when you want a smoothie, you just toss the contents in the blender.  I need to do that!  I forget how much I love them.  I always have unsweetened almond milk in the house, so I have something to blend the fruit with.  I just need to get my butt to doing that.  If I do make a smoothie 'make ahead pack' I'll take pictures! :P

Today was stretch day on the calendar.  I love stretch day.  I still can't do a split.  I'm beginning to think I never will. :(  I just don't think my body is made to do it.  I can do Pigeon pose all damn day, but no splits.  Oh well, I'll keep trying!  


Ouch!

My body is so sore! I did the #1000abchallenge today plus the other two workouts on the daily calendar.  I then went walking with a friend for 5.2 miles.  I'm really tired and I'm sore, too!  Yesterday was butt day on the calendar, so my butt was sore whille walking.  Tomorrow, sitting up in bed is going to be fun. :(  Oh well, the walk was fun and I found 15c! lol

I'm now sitting on my bed relaxing with the laptop before I put it away and do my bedtime stretching routine.  After that, I'm just going to lie back and rest until time for bed.  I hope I'm not too sore tomorrow!

Long day!

Good grief! It has been a really long day!  Last night I bought some room darkening blinds.  I put them up and then noticed when I got up today that they didn't really block that much light.  I didn't see keeping them, so after  breakfast, I headed out and returned them.  I put the old ones back up.  

After that, I went to Office Max to look at the Tul notebooks.  I know some people use them for bullet journaling.  I didn't really care for them, but I did find a cute little plastic envelope that was teal and had polka dots.  I got that and then headed out.  After leaving there, I went to the park for a bit to hit a few Pokestops.  I then headed home.  I did my stretches and then went to a friend's house.  I ended up going with them to pick up pizza.  I ate too much pizza!  I also rode with them later to Gamestop and then to Starbucks.  Yes, I got a Cascara latte. :P  I stayed at their house a bit after we got back and then I headed home.  I have been working at my desk ever since..... Oh wait!  I did run back out in my own car to Taco bell and got some bean burritos.  

I am now ready to get in my bed and relax until bedtime.  I still have to take a picture for Insta for the #stretchrevolution project I'm doing.  I'll get that picture taken and then crash on my bed to post to Insta.  Then I'm just going to relax.  I way over ate today and I'm feeling it. BLEAH!


Good grief!

I have been gone all day.  I had to run errands.  I went so many places.  I got all my first of the month supplies and groceries.  I'm pretty sure after I sit down and write out my bills I'll be broke again until next month! I FINALLY got my hair cut.  I'm so glad to have that done.  It's been about six months since I got a hair cut and I really needed one.  I love the way it looks.  It's really cute!  Since I had all that running to do, I treated myself to a Cascara latte at Starbucks.  It was delicious as always. I truly hope they keep this on the menu year round.  I love it. It's totally sweet and it's low in calories.  The perfect latte!

I went to Family Dollar, the mall (for my hair cut), Starbucks, Kmart (twice!), Food Lion, Sheetz, (for gas), Ollie's and Target.  I was so tired when I got home, but I still had my workouts to do.  Luckily Friday's are stretch days.  I did that, and it felt good!  Then, I decided to get my daily post to the blog done.  I have a few more things to do and then I'm going to crash and relax for the rest of the evening.  


Yeah boi!

I am posting to my blog again.  I hope to keep up this daily blogging.  Today has been pretty good so far.  I did my workouts.  It was leg day and then I did the pose for the #stretchrevolution.  I really did not think I would be able to do the pose, but I did! :D  I was so proud of myself.  It was not easy, but I did it.  I actually got a decent picture too.  Yay!  Doing the picture challenges is always a challenge for me because I have to take them myself.  I've learned the easiest thing to do is to make a video on my cell phone and then use a video editor to take a snap of the portion I need.  Works great!  

As I was fixing my lunch, a friend texted that he was bringing me a burger.  I haven't had one in a while, so that was a nice treat.  I was going to save it for dinner, but it disappeared before I could.  Oops.  Yeah, I ate it! LOL!  It's okay though.  It fits in my calories for the day.  It was a nice surprise.  Yum!

 


Goodbye February!

It's the last day of February and that means that tomorrow is March.  Spring is definitely coming soon!  It's been really nice here lately.  Today it was quite warm and nice.  It's been in the 60's and 70's here lately.  Very unseasonable, but I'm not complaining!  I am so ready for the warm weather.  I am not a fan of winter!

I see when checking my stats, that only this blog gets visitors.  My bullet journal blog and my pen pal blog haven't been visited.  I am thinking of consolidating those blogs into this one and just have it all in one place.  At least here, someone might see those posts! :)  I wonder if there is a simple way to do that?  I'd like to just have them all move over for me.  That would make life easier!

Tomorrow, I start a new stretch project with Blogilates!  Cassey has a #stretchrevolution event for March. I've been working on my stretching on my own for the past several weeks.  I'd like to be able to get into splits.  I'm very happy to begin this program tomorrow.  I'll keep on working on my flexibility until I can do the splits!  I still have quite a bit of space between myself and the floor when trying, but I can see improvement.  I am definitely getting more flexible!

I went to the post office yesterday and I had two letters.  One from a brand new pen pal and one from one that I sent out a new pal letter to recently.  It's always great to get new pals.  I'm going to write letters either tonight or tomorrow.  I am not sure which, yet.  

I guess that is all for now.  I hope to continue to post here more often.  If I can get my other blogs merged into this one, you'll see that soon! 


Friday!

It's Friday and I didn't skip my walk!  I got it in and did my workouts too!  It was really hot today.  I was so happy to get home into my room with the air conditioner!  I drank 3 bottles of water after I got home.  It was stretch day on the calendar, so that was nice.  I did all that and then had lunch.  I was going to stick around the house for awhile, but my phone had no service.  A friend of mine told me that at her house, she had a bit of service, so I went there for a while. It eventually cleared up.  Seems it was a system wide issue with AT&T.  It's all better now.  I'm back home.

I posted a few posts to Letters and Lattes. Go check them out if you want!  I think I'm going to enjoy having a blog dedicated to just pen palling.  Hopefully it will get lots of readers.  I want to do a lot with it.  I will not be giving up this blog.  I will always have my personal blog. I love it too much to let it go. ^_^
