Zombies Feed

It was around 70 the other day, today, it was below freezing.  Phooey!  It was pretty chilly when I walked today.   It took a while before I got warmed up.  I almost gave up and turned around and came back!  I didn't though and got my walk in.  I didn't do my workouts after I got home as I usually do.  I spend some time relaxing before lunch.  I ate and then read a while on the current book on my Kindle.  I have more lined up ready to go!  This one is the Jekyll Revelation and it's really good.  I'm enjoying it.  I'm over have way done with it now.  After I finish it, I am going to read Gwendy's Button Box and then a true crime book I just got yesterday.  After that, I have several zombie books and other things on my Kindle so I'm full up on things to read.  I'm on Goodreads if you want to see what I'm reading at any time.  The link is in the sidebar.  I didn't read much in '17 and I plan to make up for that this year!

I did do my workouts this evening.  I got them done a bit ago.  My bed linen is in the dryer waiting for me to put it back on the bed.  I only have one more thing to do after that and then I'm going to relax with my Kindle and I'm also going to play more Pocket Camp.  I haven't played as much today as usual, so I want to get some playing in.

Books galore!

So, while we are talking about books, what else do I read besides zombie stuff?  Well, I've been reading Stephen King since I was young and I love his works.  His son Joe Hill has some great works too.  My favorite book of all time is actually The Stand by Sai King.  I also love the Dark Tower books.  In fact, I've read all of his fiction books that have been published as of this point.  There are only a few I didn't really care for.  My favorites are The Stand, Cell, The Dark Tower books, and Salem's Lot.

I also love true crime books.  Some of my favorite true crime authors include, Ann Rule, M. William Phelps, Diane Fanning, Jerry Bledsoe, and Aphrodite Jones.  I love both e-books and paper books.  I am not a fan of audio books except when walking.  When I'm walking, I like to listen to books to pass the time.

My house is full of books.  I was introduced to reading at a young age.  In fact, when I was younger, my favorite store was a book store instead of the toy store.  There used to be a book store here in town called, "The First Edition Book Shop"  It was my favorite store ever! As you can tell, I like books, I like reading, and yes, I write too. :)

Zombie fiction

I have to admit, I love reading a good zombie book.  The other day, a friend of mine asked me if I had read The Forest of Hands and Teeth.  I hadn't, so I went to look at my local library to see if it was available to download via their e-book site.  It was and I downloaded it to my Kindle.  The night I got it, I read 70% of it and finished the rest of it last night.  It was pretty decent.  Not enough zombie action though.  I have read so many books in this genre.

My favorite triology was by Mira Grant.  The first book was Feed.  This was some GREAT zombie fiction.  I've also read all of the Lanherne Chronicles, all of the Zombie Games books, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.  There are many more that I can't think of at the moment.  In any case, I love a good zombie novel.  If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
