What the Junk?!

Hello again! I meant to do an afternoon post and forgot. I'll show you some afternoon and evening pictures.  We went out to eat later in the day and went up to North Myrtle to go to the Goodwill up there once more.  We came back down 17 instead of the bypass and we stopped at my favorite Bargain Beachwear store! I got a new hoodie for the winter. It's an odd shade, but I like it. It's sort of rose but rust but not? LOL I'll take a picture once I'm home.  I would now, but I'm on the balcony and I plan to stay out here as long as possible tonight since we leave tomorrow. I DO NOT want to go home. BOO on that!  

Hello again! I went for a walk.  I went out to 17 and went to a few beachwear stores.  I went in Whales,  Bargain Beachwear, and Eagles.  I found a hoodie I loved at Whales, but walked down to the other stores to see if I could find a better deal.  I didn't find a hoodie exactly like it, so I went back to Whales. lol . I've always wanted one of the red Lifeguard hoodies.  This place had them and they also had some that said Beach Patrol.  I liked that even better!  Also, the Lifeguard ones are usually pullover, this is zip up.  I love it.  :)

I am going to have to do a tracker in my bullet journal for all my MB hoodies. LOL!  I already have one for Starbucks tumblers and Fossil handbags.  I have....six MB hoodies, I think?  I feel like I'm missing one. :p OH I am lol I have seven.  Two grey, two blue, a pink, a yellow, and this new red one!  I found one of the grey ones at the goodwill at home! 

I took some pictures to share while out.  I came back by the little park that is next to our hotel and took over the Pokemon gym there. :P . I had it the other night, but it was taken over.  It's back to Mystic blue again.  Take that random dude. lol . ANYWAY Enjoy the pictures I took and I'll check in later!

Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! I just got back from a long walk.  I walked to the Pavilion area.  We are a lot further down here than we were in June. It was a hike! lol . I got down there and walked all over the Gay Dolphin.  I found a smooshed penny machine that I've never seen before. YAY!!!!!  I got two different designs. I love them.  I also found something I looked for several years ago and could never find.  A iron on patch! That was so weird.  I looked and realized what it was and grabbed it up! lol

I got a few more small things and then went across the street to I Love Sugar.  I got a small bag of assorted goodness. lol . They have bulk candy.  I got a bit from this bin and that. It was an eclectic mix!  I left there and headed back across the street and walked down a bit to an arcade/game center.  I went in and got a Coke and then I saw the little snack bar.  I went and got some fries and went back in and ate them.  Yummy!  It was a nice break.  After that, I started back.  I stopped at a Bargain Beachwear on my way back.  After that, I stopped once to sit on a bench on the Boardwalk before leaving the Boardwalk and getitng back on Ocean Blvd to come the rest of the way home.

I got here and I was going sloooooow.  My poor feet are hurting.  I have blisters and I'm raw in several places! LOL . I came in and took a cool shower (bliss) and put on clean clothes.  I'm feeling a bit better now, but my poor feet are not happy with me!

Hello!  I'm sorry about that short post last night.  It took so long for me to get the photo uploaded that once it did, I just published the post and gave up! lol . The picture doesn't do the bag justice, but there you go.  After we got back here, I went to a quick walk out to 17 to the Bargain Beachwear.  I was disappointed as it wasn't as big as I'm used to.  It was disappointing really.  I did get a couple of discounted decals and a shirt that was $5.99 . It wasn't my size, but it looked big enough.  

I left there and walked back across 17 and then headed back to the room.  The street I walked through to get from Ocean blvd to 17 was sort of creepy, so I went back a few streets up and came back that way! :p . I came back here and waited for the fireworks that never came. :( . They didn't shoot them off. Boo!  That was disappointing!  I decided to walk, so I walked on the beach down to the Sky Wheel area on the beach.  I walked a little bit past that and walked to Pier 14.  I took a few pictures under it as it's lit up underneath at night and then headed back.

Today's plan is to go to the Pavilion / Sky Wheel area and visit my favorite stores.  There is going to be a festival going on tomorrow and this weekend, so it's going to be crazy crowded down there.  I want to miss all of that! I'll try to take a lot of pictures down that way to share.  Here is one from under Pier 14 from last night.

So, it's just a bit after 2pm and I've already done quite a bit.  I slept pretty well. That was a relief. I did wake up several times in the night like I usually do, but it wasn't too bad.  I got up before my Fitbit went off and fixed some pizza that was leftover from last night.  I had a piece on the balcony and then I had to come in because of how hot it is out there!

I finished up in here and relaxed for a bit.  I then dressed and headed out.  I decided to hit the Boardwalk as it starts right next to our hotel. Yay!  I got on it and walked to the Sky Wheel / Old Pavilion area.  I went in the Gay Dolphin as is tradition.  I bought a couple of shirts in there.  A MB one and a Gay Dolphin one!  I got some stickers and a grab bag, too.  I went across the street to I Love Sugar, but I didn't buy anything.  I went back across and hit the boardwalk and walked down to the ocean front Starbucks.  They didn't look too busy, so I headed in.  I was able to get hte same little table I got when I discovered it in September.  I got a caramel ribbon crunch frappuccion and a trenta sized ice water.  I stayed in there and cooled off and relaxed.  I wrote in my trip journal and drank my frappuccion.  I carried my water with me. 

I walked back along the boardwalk and went in a small beachwear store and then went back out and across the street to check out a Bargain Beachwear.  After that, I went back to the boardwalk and headed back to the room. Oh wait! Before Starbucks, I went up on Pier 14 and got a smooshed penny and got to meet a cute dog.  When I was coming back to the room, I stopped at 2nd Ave Pier and got a a smooshed penny there too.  Oh, and I went in Peaches Corner and got a penny but it came out badly. Boo!

I came back to the hotel and got to meet another cute doggie (they are allowed here) and came up to the room.  I was totally roasting, so I took a cool shower and put on some fresh clothes.  That was nice.  Here are a few pictures I took today to share with you:

Whoo whee.  I'm a tired pup! I walked quite aways own 17.  I went to a bunch of stores and spent way more money than I should have.  I got some popcorn balls, a Dew, and a pen at Dollar General.  They get the popcorn balls at Halloween and Christmas and they are good!  I always get some.  I stopped at several beachwear stores.  I got two shirts at Bargain beachwear. My favorite beachwear store at the beach.  I got a cute MB shirt with a whale on it and a Pokemon Go shirt that has the three teams on it for $3!  I saw it in June and meant to buy it then, but I didn't.  I was surprised it was still there!

I also got another hoodie. :P . The Eagles I went in had some cute workout capris and I got a pair of those.  While I was browsing around the store, I saw that the hoodies were 16.99!!!  I have a yellow one, two blue, and two grey ones.  This one is pink!  It is cute and I couldn't resist for the price.  It's good quality because it's the same brand as my other ones.  

I also bought a cute mug in another store.  It's green and says cappuccino on it.  It's really cute but the more I look at it, the more I'm thinking I won't be able to use it for coffee, it's too small. lol . I might use it as a pen cup!  I took some random pictures while out.  Here are a few:

Wow, what a day.  I walked on the beach this morning and got splashed by some waves.  I had to come back and put my shorts out to dry. lol  Later, I went walking to 17.  I went to Bargain Beachwear to get a few postcards.  I also got a keychain.  I headed further down 17 and then turned and headed back to Ocean Boulevard.  I got part of the way back and then took my shoes off and walked on the beach back to the hotel.  I came back and relaxed on the balcony a bit.  My friend and I went to North Myrtle Beach.  We went to Tuesday Morning and I got three more rolls of the washi that I liked so much.  I also found some other goodies.  A package of Halloween stickers and some craft tiny clothespins.  After leaving there, we headed to King's Famous Pizza for dinner.  That was delicious as always!

Since we were right near the Goodwill, we went there.  I got a MB shirt and a package of full page labels.  I can use them to make my own stickers at home. YAY!  There were twenty left in the box.  I'm pretty sure when you buy a small package of them, they come ten to the pack and they are over $10 a pack!  Crazy!  These were $1 Yes!  We went to the Dollar General that is next door to the Goodwill and got a few things and then headed back down the strip.  There was another Starbucks that I hadn't been to yet, so he swung by there and I went in and got myself a latte. :D  He wanted ice cream, so he stopped at Burky's.  We've eaten at Burky's before.  It's pretty good.  He got ice cream and then we headed down to the road where Market Common was.  We had seen the sign before and looked for it but didn't find it.  We found it tonight!  It was late, so most everything was closed, but at least we found it. :P  It has a lot of high end stores, it seems.

So we then headed back towards the room.  We saw a miniature golf place that looked pretty cool.  We went and one sign said they closed at 10:30, the sign on the building said 11.  The lady said they closed at 10!  It was about 9:32 by then, so we didn't get to play.  Phooey! We headed back here and I did my workouts.  I'm posting this and then I'm going to take my nightly beach walk.  I'm really tired, but I still want to at least walk a little bit. ^_^ 

So, I told you in my earlier post that I might post again today.  Well, I'm posting!  I wanted to tell you about my day up until now.  I ate leftover pizza this morning and had three cups of coffee!  My friend and I sat on the balcony for a while just enjoying the view.  I decided after a bit to go out.  He wasn't ready to go yet, so I went out and walked.  I went to Big Lots, Dollar General, and several different beachwear stores.  All are having good end of the season sales.  I got two NICE t-shirts in the Bargain Beachwear (My favorite beachwear shops) for $10!  I thought that was a great deal.  One is the an exact match to one I got in June but in a different color.  It's red.  The other shirt I got today is blue.  Both are pretty.  

I also found myself a really nice heavy duty coffee mug in another beachwear store.  I can't remember which one at the moment. I always bring my bestie a present from the beach that is something to do with turtles.  It's getting harder and harder to find something different to carry her.  I found something though.  I won't mention it in case she reads this. :p

In that store, I found a pink long tank that I bought half off of the sale price, I think I paid $4 for it  I will use it as a beach cover up and it can also be a good workout shirt for at home.  I went in soooo many beachwear shops.  It's a nice diversion and it's usually nice and cool in them!

I came back here and I have my phone charging.  It went down to 11% while I was out. Oops!  I forgot that it wasn't fully charged when I left the room.  It's charging now and hopefully it will be pretty close to full when we go out tonight.  I am not sure where exactly we are going.  He mentioned perhaps the Dead Dog Saloon as we both love it.  We had planned to do that tomorrow night, but neither of us like the guy who is performing tomorrow night.  They have live music at the restaurant.

So, I may update again later tonight and I may just do it tomorrow. We'll see.  OH! I did my workouts this afternoon.  It was cardio.  WAH!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL  I did them though.  After I post this, I'm going to do my French lesson with Duolingo and then wait to see what we are going to do tonight.  I took a picture with Photobooth of the ocean. Okay, not great, but it will do for now. :p

I can't believe that it's Saturday and my last full day here.  I'm going to miss waking up and sitting on my bed looking out at the beautiful ocean view!  I don't want to go home at all!  It's another gorgeous day here, too.  I think we are going to hit a breakfast buffet today.  After that, I'm coming back here to relax and enjoy my last day here.  My friend is going to a few places he wants to go that I don't really care about.  I'll enjoy a day of just relaxing in the room.  We'll probably hit the beach this afternoon as we didn't go down yesterday.  We did take our nightly walk on the beach, though.

As for walking, I did a lot yesterday.  I walked to 17 to a few stores and then came back here.  I stayed in the room a bit and then decided to go to the Pavilion area again.  I went to Bargain Beachwear and got yet another hoodie. :P  I went to I Love Sugar and got some candy.  I walked back and was happy to relax until we went out to dinner!  I was so tired after all that.  I played Pokemon Go while I was out and I actually caught four new ones.  Yeah!  That was cool.  

As of right now, I'm drinking some delicious coffee and waiting on my friend to get up and get ready to go to breakfast.  I am ready for all you can eat BACON! LOL

I slept decently last night.  I didn't get as much sleep as I prefer, but it's better than a few nights ago!  Yesterday was  full day.  I walked out to Hwy 17 and went to several beach stores, including my favorite, Bargain Beachwear.  I also went to a Big Lots and a Dollar General too.  I caught some Pokemon along the way and got some sun.  As soon as I post this blog post, I'm going to get dressed and head out for a a walk.  I'm not sure exactly where I'll go today.  Probably something similar to yesterday.  Tomorrow, I plan to walk to the Pavilion area.  

We spent some time of the beach yesterday and that was nice.  I even put my beach chair in the ocean and sat down and let the waves come in over my legs. That was fun.  I posted several posts to Instagram while I was on the beach.  I will share more beach pictures here, too.  I'll probably do an album like I did with the April trip.  For now, I'll just share one of the pictures I took yesterday. 

Okay, so on Thursday morning, I got up at 6:30.  Our plan was to be on the road by 7.  My friend was running behind so it was about 8:30 when we finally got going.  We had breakfast from Hardee's.  He picked it up on the way and we ate in the car at my house before heading out.

We didn't stop until we got to Rockingham North Carolina. There is a Shell gas station there that also has a convenience store.  We always stop here to get gas, use the restroom, and get a snack.  I got a water and a Reese's.  Yum!  We headed on and got to our hotel at North Myrtle Beach around 1 pm.  We were able to check it immediately and went to our room.  I was a nice little room on the fifth floor.  We unpacked and then decided to order pizza.  An hour later, no pizza.  We called and then said, "It was just coming out of the oven."  After several other excuses.  We cancelled it and ordered from somewhere else.  That actually came and we ate.  I had mine on the balcony so I could enjoy the ocean while eating.

That evening, we went to Dollar Tree. I was able to get three packs of mini washi. :)  Also, there was a Starbucks across the street from the shopping center we were at, so I got myself a caramel macchiato. :D  We also went to a Goodwill and I got a really cool package of stickers and rub ons.  There were a LOT of them in there and I paid 6.99 for them.  There was some great stuff in there.  I'll do  a picture post tomorrow and show all the goodies.

We walked on the beach for a bit that night and then crashed not long after.  Friday morning, we got a late start and we wanted breakfast, so we went to a restaurant called Eggs Up Grill.  It was pretty good!  We went and got some snacks for the room at a Dollar General and then went back to the room.  We took ourselves out to the beach and set up an umbrella on the beach.  We spent about two hours on the beach.  I took a lot of pictures!  

That evening, we went to go to a Sonic that we had enjoyed last year.  Unfortunately it was closed.  Torn completely down and a car wash was in it's place!  We then decided to check out Red Robin but they were packed.  Golden Corral was the same way, so we looked up another Sonic on the GPS and went there.  We ordered and about 45 minutes later, we had no food!  We tracked down one of the car hops and she went to check.  It was 'wrong' and they had to re-make part of it but the other part had been sitting.  We asked to just cancel the order and get a refund.  They came out with the refund and the food.  They had re-made everything fresh.  We ate and then went to the Dairy Queen at Myrtle to get some ice cream.  We got that and then headed back to the room for the night. We walked on the beach too.

Saturday, we got up in time to make it to Golden Corral while they still had breakfast out.  It was right at the time they were switching to lunch, but I was still able to get eggs, bacon, and hash browns. Yay!  I also had a couple of their delicious yeast rolls and some cotton candy. LOL!  What a combo, eh?  After breakfast, we went by the Goodwill again.  I was able to get a nice water bottle (stainless and insulated!) for .99!  We got back to the room and I decided to walk. My friend stayed at the room as he planned to go on the beach.

I walked out to 17 and walked across the highway to a Bargain Beachwear.  I got a shirt, a key chain, a shell bracelet and a little present for my friend back home.  I walked down 17 and went into a Tuesday Morning.  I got a lot of discounted Smash journal stuff for less than $10!  I'll include that in tomorrow's picture post.  I then walked on to the Dollar Tree and got three more packs of that thin washi.  I also got a water.  I was going to get Starbucks, but I decided to just head back to the room.

I went back onto Ocean Boulevard and walked back to the hotel that way.  I spent balcony time and relaxed a bit. When my friend was ready to go to dinner, we headed out and decided on King's Famous pizza.  We've eaten here on a previous trip.  The food and the service were terrific!  He got spaghetti and I got my own little pepperoni pizza.  Dinner was delicious.  We drove up 17 all the way to Little River and then headed back.  We got some ice cream at the Sonic at NMB and then went to the room.

I walked on the beach by myself.  I didn't stay out long though as I was really tired from my walk earlier and I wanted to get most everything packed up since we would be leaving the next day.

Sunday started with me waking up way too early!  I finished my packing and then waited for my friend to get going.  We finally got checked out and then went to Bojangles for breakfast.  We stopped once more before leaving the beach.  We stopped at a gas station in Myrtle that we usually hit going out.  After filling up, we went in to use the restroom and he got a soda and a candy bar. I got a coffee and a candy bar.  

Speaking of coffee!  The hotel didn't have a coffee maker in the room, but luckily, the lobby had a nice coffee maker and fresh coffee brewed all the time.  I had some delicious coffee at the beach!  I also got to play Pokemon Go every day, too!

We stopped in Rockingham on the way home at the Sandwich Hut.  He got more gas, snacks, and took a bathroom break.  We then headed home.  It was too short of a trip, but it was nice. I'll do a picture post of some of my goodies tomorrow!

So, today, I decided I would get in my steps, but not 35,000 of them! :p  I got in my usual 21,000.  I took a walk earlier and went out onto Highway 17 and hit Bargain Beachwear, Eagles, Wings, Rite Aid, and... I think that is all?  I had thought about walking to Apache pier, but I thought I'd save it for tomorrow.  Oh, I went to CVS too.  I thought about eating lunch at Jimmyz, but I didn't.  

I had leftover pizza from last night.  We ordered pizza after midnight last night!  Yeah, we did! :p  It was delicious too!  I spent some time on the balcony and then spent some time on the roof in a lounge chair.  I came back to the room for a bit and then decided to go to the Starbucks that is here at the resort and write some pen pal letters.  It wasn't the regular day, or the regular Starbucks, but it was nice!  I got my tall vanilla latte with  caramel.  After writing my letters I headed back to the room.  

My friend and I went out a bit later and for dinner.  We headed to Murrell's Inlet to the Dead Dog Saloon restaurant.  So delicious!  We were seated on the outside deck.  My favorite place to sit when we were there!  I got my usual, a grilled chicken sandwich with bbq sauce, cheese, and bacon.  So good!  After we left there, we found a Krispy Kreme and picked up a dozen donuts! :D  The hot light was on. :p

We came back here and I went out to walk on the beach a little bit so that I could get in the rest of my steps.  I got them and now I'm posting before showering before bed.  I might skip the shower and just go to bed! I need to get a good night's sleep.  I haven't had one in quite a while!

I will do a picture post soon.  I promise.  If not before I leave here, I'll do one after I get home.  By the way, I have been Snapchatting while here!  I'm AnnDroidGirl there too!

So, it was overcast today and it rained off and on.  We decided to go do all our shopping.  We hit several thrift stores.  I got two pair of shorts, a cute purse, and a tankini top.  I have a bottom from another tankini and it matches perfectly! :)  We got lunch at Sonic and I even had an ice cream cone from DQ. Oh.... my friend wanted a shake from Cookout.  It was right next to a Starbucks.  The line was so long, that I was able to get out, walk over to Starbucks, get a latte, and walked back before he was done! LOL!  The barista was really nice and she made a delicious drink for me!  Starbucks at the beach? BLISS!

We went to a bunch of pawn shops.  My friend loves those.  We also went to Food Lion to pick up a few things to eat in the room.  We came back here and I went back out to get in a walk!  I didn't get in my regular 8.5 miles, but I did a little over 6. I went to Bargain Beachwear and Rite Aid while I was on my walk.   I have my 21,000 steps for the day, so I'm happy about that!  I got back here and ate leftover pizza from yesterday.  After that, I went down on the beach.  I can't go a whole day without going out on the beach!  Hopefully tomorrow I'll get to go out and spend some time during the day!

So, now I'm going to post this and then I'm going to relax.  I want to get a good night's sleep as I didn't sleep well last night. I really need it!

So on my first full day at the beach, I slept a little late.  I got up and got dressed and went walking.  I walk everyday at home.  I don't use vacation as an excuse not to walk!  I went from the hotel on Ocean Boulevard to Highway 17 (King's Hwy) and walked to Bargain Beachwear.  I spent a lot of time and money in here on the trip back in June.  I spent some money again.  I got my friend a gift, and I got a new MB t-shirt and some other things.  I went to Eagles (another beach store) and fell in love with a light blue tote bag.  It was way up in the air, so I had to get someone to get it down for me.  It was on sale! :D  I got it and used to tote all my things for the rest of my walk.

I hadn't eaten yet, so I went to Jimmyz.  It's a Japanese restaurant that is sort of fast food. I got their teriyaki chicken bowl.  It was delicious.  After eating, I went looking for a Munzee.  (Check out http://www.Munzee.com ) I found all but one of the ones in the area when I was there in June.  I finally found the one I missed.  I captured that and then walked some more. I went back to Ocean Blvd and out onto the beach to walk back to the hotel.  I went back and cooled off a bit.

My friend and I went to the pool area.  I forgot to mention they have a water slide.  We went on that a few times and then went back to the pool area. After we got dried off, showered, and cleaned up, we went to Cook Out for some dinner and then went to Food Lion to get some groceries for the room. I went for another quick walk on the beach and to the little convenience store in the resort next door. (We usually stay at that resort but decided for a change this time)  I went back to the room and relaxed until time for bed.  It was a good first full day.
