What the Junk?!

Sorry about that. I kept meaning to blog and knew I was going to do a post-beach post with pictures and all and it just got too overwhelming and I never did anything. I will share a few pictures from the morning we left. I do hope to do a wrap-up post with some of my trip finds. I know I didn't share much about them as I got them. I think I mentioned the cart that I got. I got it put together and it's very cute! It was deceptively harder to put together than it looked! Seriously! Anyway, here are a few pictures I took on the beach before we left. I will try to get back into posting regularly again.

A couple more bonus pictures. This is a part of Second Ave. Pier that broke off overnight and washed up in front of our hotel!

We made it back. I am extremely tired so I will post a trip recap tomorrow with some pictures I took this morning.  I will share one picture today, though.

Ah, the last night post that will be posted from the beach itself. I probably will not post in the morning from here. I have already packed up a lot of my things to save myself time in the morning.  We went out to a couple of places tonight and then got dinner and ice cream. We were going to run to a Starbucks, but the only ones that are open until 10 or later are in North Myrtle Beach. So weird!  You would think that at least a few would be open that late here. Oh well.  So, I took one last walk down to the beach. I took a few pictures from a different perspective tonight.

I am currently on the balcony of the room.  I am going to spend as much time here as possible as we leave tomorrow.  It's another gorgeous day here. Sunny and hot! We are going out to dinner later, but that isn't going to be for quite a while as we both just ate some leftovers.  All my room food is gone except for some cheese slices and snacks. lol Here is the current view!

I am SO going to miss this!

It's our last full day here, sadly.  I am going to miss seeing the ocean every day, but I am going to enjoy being reunited with my bed!  Also, being able to spread out and have my things just like I like them will be nice too! I took a few pictures to share. Not sure what we are doing today.  

I meant to do this earlier, but time got away from me. We were up and out pretty early. We went to all of the Goodwills except the one at North Myrtle Beach, we got there last night.  We even went back to Conway and got that Goodwill and the Salvation Army store there.  I found a few goodies today.  A pencil pouch, an old vintage address thingee, a cute tote bag, and a bunch of other small things. We also made it to a Tuesday Morning and I got a two-pack of notebooks and a bamboo tabletop /board that fits on a rolling craft cart. I have been thinking of buying one of those carts for a while now. Even if I don't, I can use the board I got as a lap desk or similar. My friend got himself some inexpensive Bluetooth earbuds yesterday and said he'd buy me a pair like his today. We found some similar ones in Tuesday Morning and he got me them. I'm happy because the case is blue. :P. They work well, too. I paired them with the M1 and it was a go! 

Right now, I'm sitting on the balcony of our room. This is the first day it's been cool enough to stay out here for any length of time. It's been so muggy. Today, it was muggy and humid, but there is a nice breeze blowing out here so it's nice. I plan to stay out here and write. My writing has suffered greatly here. Not being able to get away and write has been stressful. I have written every day though Even if it's only 200 or so words! Here are a few pictures I took right before typing this up!

I forgot to post an evening post last night. Oops!  Well, I'll start the day with a few beach pics and.a pool pic. lol I will even toss in one I took last night that i had planned to post in an evening post. :)

I was going to post this from the balcony but it's very humid out there.  It's making my Mac fog up. That is not good for it, so back in I am. It was pouring rain earlier this morning, too. It was really crazy for a while. I will share a picture from the beginning of the rain and then a few pictures from just a moment ago when I was on the balcony. In the rain photo, you can actually see individual raindrops! Keep in mind I was ON the balcony, this was not taken through the balcony door.

The two from now are a lot darker than it actually is out there. There is a good amount of people all up and down the beach now that it has 'cleared'. 

I took these around 8:30 or so. Meant to post before now.

It was so pretty tonight!

We went to breakfast and then out for a bit. We went to the one Goodwill we missed yesterday. It rained the entire time we were gone. It's not raining now, but it's very humid. I was going to post this from the balcony but it is just too humid out there. So, you can see the contrast in the sky. Toward the south end of the beach, it's starting to clear off. See:

I woke up a bit after 7 this morning and had to go to the bathroom before going back to bed. I looked out and decided to take a few early morning pictures to share.  Enjoy, I'll never be up this early again. lol

No afternoon post, we were out.  We went on quite a journey, too.  We went down to Pawley's Island to the Goodwill there and the Salvation Army there.  We were close to Georgetown, SC, so we went there too. We found a Goodwill there and another Salvation Army.  We went to both of those and then headed back up. We stopped at the Goodwill in Murrel's Inlet, the one in NMB, and the one on 501, and then went to the mall so I could pick up some food!  Oh, we went to the Market Common Goodwill before heading down to Pawley's.  We were going to the Loyola Goodwill too, but we missed that one. We should have hit it going back up, but it took us a weird way and we missed it. We weren't going back down again so we just decided to wait until another day. I got food from the Chinese place in the mall again since I liked it so much the last time. Delicious! I took a few pictures to share. It's supposed to rain and be grey for the next few days, so I might not have any pretty sunny pictures, but we'll see!

Up early again, boo! lol. I went out and took a few pictures to share. Now sure what we are doing today as I am the only one up. We will probably make it to breakfast today. The hotel has a small breakfast buffet and we have vouchers to eat there free every day we are here. We've been in every day except yesterday, so we'll probably make it today. I am hoping he'd like to make the drive down to Pawley's Island today, but I doubt he'll want to. I'll update you later if we do anything fun. I'll also have pictures of either the beach or something different. :)

Well, I walked on the beach tonight. I also went across to the other buildings of the 'resort' we are staying at. We are in the smallest and oldest building. It's nice because the majority of the pools and things are over at the other buildings!  I spent some balcony time earlier as I shared. I also came in and relaxed a bit in the air conditioning. :p We ordered food for dinner and had it delivered.  It was delicious! We've ordered from this place before so we knew it would be good. I got a pizza and it was very yummy! I have plenty for tomorrow too. :) That is always good.

We had a wee bit of rain earlier before it got dark. The tide got really high after that too. It was a lot further up than I'm used to seeing it.  That was pretty neat.  I might have a picture to share, let me see.

There you go! It was really up there.  It's receded now. I found that out when I went to walk on the beach a bit.  Now, I'm going to relax until bedtime. I'm tired as i got up way too early today. :p
