Bujo Feed

Should be interesting...

I just saw where the local schools are closed tomorrow because of a tropical storm warning.  The hurricane that hit in Louisiana is heading our way and the weather is supposed to be bad tomorrow so they canceled school. We'll probably get a little rain, one bout of wind, and it will all go back to normal! I'm not too worried about it.  I have no plans to go out, so that won't be an issue.

I did go out today to vote.  I have never voted early before this election, so that was new.  It was easy and pretty quick too.  I was thinking that the polls would be swamped on Election day, so I went ahead and voted early.  I didn't get my sticker (D'oh) but I got to keep the pen I voted with. I guess it works out in the end.  Plus, I printed myself a sticker to put in my bujo. lol It looks like this:

With my doubts last night about this year's NaNo story, I wrote myself some notes today for it.  I have plenty of stuff to make it work.  I am definitely going to go with it.  I don't have time to start over from scratch on anything else!

Another Leuchtturm 1917? Yes!

I have my notebook for my 2021 bullet journal and it's a Leuchtturm1917!  This is my fourth one.  It's yellow and it's so pretty.  I will probably add a decal or sticker to the front at some point.  This years I had already planned the decal for it.  It was a Myrtle Beach one that matched the cover.  I will look to see if I can find a cute decal when we go to the beach next month. If not, I'll use a sticker.  I got a little packet of Adventure Time stickers in the mail yesterday.  They came in with the order where I ordered the Leuchtturm.  I also ordered a few more things that arrived yesterday.  The last item in that order was supposed to come today, but it didn't.  Hopefully, it will come tomorrow.  It's a passport size TN. ^^: Yes, I know I don't need any more TNs! ;p

An eBay item that I ordered last week came today, too.  My Note has all four of the Nissan hubcaps on it, but the front driver side one had broken pieces and it's cracked in places. I was able to find one on eBay and ordered it. It finally came today.  I was able to put it on after some fun of trying to get it on. LOL, The old one was easy to get off, the new one took me a bit but it's on.  Now my wheels all look good.

The next thing I want to get for the Note is the cargo cover.  I don't know why they don't have that included when you buy the car. I've seen other people mention this, so I don't think this one is just missing one from a previous owner.  The cargo cover (Nissan branded) is a bit over $100 so I am going to keep looking. I'm hoping to find one for a much, much lower price!

Here is the newest Leuchtturm.  I can't wait to set it up and hope that 2021 is much better than this crazy year!

Friday fun

Well, not fun like last Friday and going to Myrtle Beach!  I didn't really do anything today. I didn't even leave the house.  I meant to go out and do a few things and I never did. Oh well!  I did receive a package from eBay.  I was completely out of Bic roll-on Wite-out.  I knew I was getting low and looked for it when I was in Family Dollar the other week, but they don't carry it.  A few nights ago, I completely ran out so I went to eBay. I found someone selling a four-pack with free shipping, so I got it.  It came today.  I could have gone over to Target and probably got it a few dollars cheaper, but I saw it on eBay and figured why not!  I use it for mistakes in my bujo and in my check register.  It's been a while since I bought a multipack.  It finally ran out.  This should last me a good long time!

What an exciting day. A post about buying Wite-out! lol. Aren't you glad you stopped by? :p

Munzee and more!

I received a new traveler's notebook in the mail today. :P. This one is bigger than a passport size.  It will hold small Moleskine cahiers and Field Note notebooks.  I made mine into a Munzee kit!  I can use it as that and if I want to change it up, carry it as a smaller tn in the future! I like the way I set it up.  I want to get another pocket type insert.  The one I'm using cam in another thing I got and I saved it. It fits perfectly in this little TN and I can store Munzees in there.  All the extras I have in an old Altoid tin.  I can add more to the TN as needed.  Neat, yes?

Of course, I had to give it a test run!  First I drove to a place where there was a virtual Munzee and captured it, then I rode to Ballou park and drove around trying to decide where to deploy a couple of Munzees.  I have deployed several in the park.  You can deploy one within 50 feet of someone else's and at least 150 feet from your own. (Or the other way around, I forget! LOL!) Anyway!  I was able to deploy two and that was fun.  I took pictures of the TN while there since I was outside is beautiful natural light.  Here are the pictures:

This is the TN itself.  I put it in the bag my Foxy came in to carry it in my purse.  It's such a cute size!

The inside.  I have a Moleskine Evernote notebook in there.  I am using it to keep track k of the Munzees as I deploy them to keep a record. (I also have a tracker in my bujo)

The little plastic guy that I'm using for now to hold my Munzees.  I used washi tape to secure everything since it's easy to remove and re-stick.  The blue post it has a list of ones that I need to repair that I've deployed in the past.

I think this will be a neat system and I can easily toss this TN in another bag if I go out without my  purse.  I think I'm going to love it.  I found this TN on Amazon for a very good price. It comes in brown, black, and dark brown (what I have).  Very nice quality. It came with one notebook and an extra band. Highly recommended!

Beach Bingo!

For the past few trips to Myrtle Beach, I have made a Beach bingo card in my bujo.  I did it again this year and I finished decorating it and filling it in today. All the washi I used was actually bought while at the beach!  I love the way it looks.  Here is my completed bingo board:

I used my Canon Ivy to print three pictures for the left page.  I think it turned out well!  I love all the blue.  The marks on the bingo board are a star stamper that I bought while at the beach and I just colored in the center to make them more visible.  I like it!

I found a surprise today while in my kitchen. I went to give a drink of water to the succulent that I have had for years.  It is blooming!  It has two pretty little flowers on it.   I took a picture of that too! ;p

I didn't know it would bloom because I have had it a very long time and it never has before.  It was a nice surprise. I hope it gets more blooms in the future.  I have had it in that window ever since I got it because it does so well there.  I am scared to move it anywhere else!

Good mail day!

Why?  Well, three different orders came! I got an adorable pencil case that I've been eyeing forever. It was out of stock for the longest time. I got a notification that it was available and I ordered it. It came today.  I also got a nice set of Starbucks cards from eBay.  All were ones I needed that I didn't have except one. Well, there were about three that I did have but they weren't 'mint' as in they had their code uncovered.  I was able to swap those out and add all these new cards to my collection.  It was 40 cards in all so I made a good contribution to my collection!   I am going to put them all in order at some point, but for now, they are all in there as I get them.

The third item I got was a cute Evernote/Moleskine notebook. It's the smaller one.  Around 3in x 5 inches.  It's black with an Evernote green ribbon bookmark, green elastic, and it has the elephant embossed with other stuff on the front. It came with one of the Moleskine slip-on pens, too!  Also, it had the code in there for 3 months of Evernote premium! YAY!  I like this size notebook for slipping into my purse.  Plus it's Moleskine and Evernote!  It's a 'smart notebook' so it has the stickers so you can scan the pages into Evernote.  Very nifty.  I can always use a new notebook, and I love pens!  The 3 months of premium just sealed the deal!

Here is the pencil case. It's a pulldown one that can be used as a pen cup.  So cute and it's beautiful!

Isn't that pretty!  I keep my most used pens in a case with my bujo. I also have a few other pens in there that aren't used as much and a small ruler, a pencil, and a ballpoint pen. Before, I just used a basic pencil case. This is cool.  I love it!

Well then

Remember how I mentioned a puzzle I found in a box a few days ago?  Well, I know why it's in the box unworked. LOL!  I got the outline of it done and that was about all.  The outline was loose and it was driving me crazy. Every time I tried to fit a piece into anything it was all weird and loose.  It's the same puzzle brand as the one I worked a few weeks ago that I couldn't flip to tape it together. It was loose too, but nowhere near as bad as this one.  I am putting it away for now.  I did bag the pieces inside the box to keep them together.  I'll try it again at some point, possibly. lol

I wanted to share my very basic February habit tracker page in my bullet journal.  I printed out a calendar for the top page and wrote on the bottom page.  I added some washi and done!  I don't usually paste printables in my bujo, but this calendar was really pretty. I liked it and wanted to use it.

Goodbye 2019!

Well, here we are at the end of a year and a decade.  I'm ready to get a new year and decade started.  I have my 2020 daily journal ready to go, my 2020 bujo ready to go, and put my 2020 calendar insert in my Traveler's Notebook. I'm ready to go!

My Evernote shirt came out of the wash smelling nice and clean instead of stinky.  :p  I love it.  I just wish I could wear it now.  I'll have to lose a few pounds first, but I'm hoping to do that!

So sorry

Yes, I'm sorry about yesterday's post.  I almost didn't post today either because I've had a bad headache/migraine all day. I spent most of the day in my room in the semi-dark.  I didn't get much done today either. I did get a few pages in my 2020 bujo done, though.  I hope to get more done tomorrow. I have my habit tracker for January mostly done and I have the first weekly for January done.  I need to put in my habits. I need to decide if I am going to add or remove any for the new year.  I am not sure yet.  I'm also going to try to limit my use of washi in this year's bujo.  I love my washi, but it makes the poor journal so bulky by the end of the year.  I will use some washi, but not as much as I usually do.  We'll see how long I keep to that! :p

My NaNoWriMo winners shirt finally shipped! YAY!  I am so happy.  I can't wait to get it.  I am thinking of adding it to my sad little pile of gifts under my tree.  So far I have four $1 items under there.  If my shirt comes in time, I just might wrap it and have that under there. ^_^

Poor little guy!

I needed to get a few things at Dollar General today and as I was shopping, I saw this snowman.  The poor thing was missing an eye.  I thought he was cute even with only one eye, so I bought him.  I figured no one else would give him a home.  I came home and was trying to find something to give him another eye.  I went through my bead box and found several potential ones.  I picked one and used it.  It isn't the exact same size as the other, but it works.  I think it gives him personality.  Here is his before and after:

So, what do you think?  I think he is cute!  I didn't do a lot today as it was cold and I was feeling sort of meh.  It is supposed to be freezing rain and yucky weather here tomorrow, so I'll probably be in all day. I'll try to do a few more things in my 2020 bullet journal.  Today, I created my NaNoWriMo word tracker and I did a spread for pen swabs.  I did my roll of Stabilo pens and then at the bottom, I did my Mildliner brush pens.  The page beside it, I did the five packs of Mildliners.  I like it!  I have referred to my pen pages in other bujos so I wanted to add this in. I may or may not do a Crayola super tips page. I'm not sure yet.  I really like the pages I just did!
