Fallout Shelter Feed

Saturday slump.

I didn't walk today.  I took a rare day off and it was actually pretty nice.  I laid in bed until almost 4! LOL!  I didn't really sleep, I just relaxed and enjoyed being in my warm bed.  I was up later than usual last night because I started a new true crime book and I got involved in it and didn't want to put it down.

I went down in the basement again today.  The water went down some more, but I wasn't able to get the pilot lit.  I did get my clothes wet, my hair wet, and hurt my knee. Boo!  Hopefully I'll be able to go down tomorrow and get the pilot light lit.  Who knows?  I might give it an extra day and try again Monday.  I really want my hot water back.  I guess I'll be washing my hair in cold water again.  Brr!

I've been playing Fallout Shelter again.  I moved it to my phone.  My tablet is so old that it's hard to play it on there.  It loads too slowly and the game play is laggy.  It is much faster on my phone.  The only issue is the screen is a lot smaller! lol . Oh well.  It's fun.  I had forgotten how much fun it is.

Monday again?!

Well, when I got up today, I did not want to get out of bed.  When my Fitbit alarm went off, I didn't move.  I probably would have fallen back to sleep if I hadn't gotten a notification on my phone. I thought that was weird as I turn my phone off at night.  I forgot to do that last night. lol Sort of glad I did.  I was up longer last night than I should have because I made the mistake of opening Fallout Shelter and playing it.  It had been such a long time since I'd played and it was just as fun as I remembered it.  I don't know why I stopped playing.  I will probably put it on my phone since that will be faster.  I like the bigger screen of the tablet, but my tablet is old and slow.

Today it was quite warm again and I got a little hot on my walk.  Not too bd though.  I came home and relaxed for a bit before lunch.  I needed to mow the front lawn, so I did that after eating.  I hope I won't have to mow it again this season.  That would b nice.  My friend that takes me out to eat and helps me out a lot, needed a favor tonight.  He wanted to know if I could go to Lowe's and get a couple of florescent bulbs.  I went and got those and took them by his mom's house.  He stays at her house on Monday and Wednesday.  She is elderly and the he family can only get sitters part time so the other times he or his brother or other family members stay with her.  He was over there tonight and see needed a bulb so I went and got it.  I was thinking of getting something to eat while i was out, but my car was trying it's best to overheat so I came straight home!

Lowe's is very close to Starbucks but I didn't go! lol . I thought about it and then said, no, I've been the last two days in a row, I'll give it a rest.  I'm glad I didn't because the way my car was acting on the way to drop the bulbs off and on the way home, it would have probably been bad.

I'm sitting here really wanting a snack, but I don't have anything to snack on. Wah!  LOL  Oh how I wish I had some candy bars or some McDonald's fries!

It was nice out there

Today, I was able to walk in short sleeves.  It was actually 70 out there!  It was so nice.  I got my walk in and then came home and did four workouts.  I ate lunch and did one more.  It was arm day, so I was glad I realized this early and didn't pick up anything on my walk.  It somehow seems that everytime I have to lug things home on my walk, it's arm day!  I was able to come home and do my workouts without too much fuss or muss.

I started a load of clothes yesterday and then forgot all about them.  They finally got dry right before bed last night, but I didn't want to stay up longer to fold them and put them away.  I'll fluff them for a bit tonight and then put them away.  I forgot last night because of Fallout Shelter. Oops.

Oh well! Now, I am going to get a few things done that need it and relax for a while.  I have too much to do, and too little time. Plus I have to play Fallout Shelter. :P

Whee!

So, I've walked today and did my workout.  It was the Snowbunny blast HIIT on today's calendar.  I felt like I was dying, but I did it! :) Actually, I came home from my walk and got right into it.  That way, when I done, I got to eat lunch and now I'm done for the day.  I have housework to do, but that won't be bad.  Actually, it's just laundry.  I can toss that in and then do something else.

In other news, I've been playing Fallout Shelter a lot.  I've destroyed the first four or five vaults I built.  The latest one I've had for quite a while.  I have it exactly the way I want it.  I have an excellent tip for any of you that might play it.  If you have your entire vault surrounded by elevators, you don't have molerat attacks!  This is very useful.  My first really good vault was destroyed by a huge molerat attack.  They killed the majority of my dwellers.  I didn't have enough caps to bring my dwellers back to life and it was too few of them to get anywhere.  I finally gave up and deleted that vault.  The vault I have now is great.  I have over 100 dwellers.  I also have my vault surrounded in elevators.  I haven't had a single attack of molerats. If there is a mission for surviving so many molerat attacks, I just build a diner off to the side and put two heavily armed dwellers in there and rush the rooms until I get the amount I need.  Then I just delete the room.  I wish there was a way to prevent those horrible death claw attacks.  Those are some nasty critters! Okay, enough rambling about the game.  I need to go load the washer and then play some Fallout Shelter. :p

Alive!

Yes, I'm alive.  I just haven't posted in the last few days.  I've been doing the same things.  Walking and working out.  Yesterday, Cassey added something new to the workout calendar.  It was a HIIT routine.  She has had HIIT before,  but this was 7 moves at 45 seconds each and you repeat it four times.  I was ready to die, but I did it!  Today's workouts didn't seem so bad in comparison!  Tomorrow is rest day on the calendar, so that is even better. lol  I need the rest.

The sun came back out today and that was so nice!  It was cooler though than it's been.  That was okay.  As long as it wasn't raining!  I even stopped and picked up a few groceries on my way home from my walk.  I really needed some stuff.  I felt like I didn't get much of anything and it was still $32! Sheesh!  Oh well, I have good things to eat and that is the important thing.

Now, I'm going to sit down and write out my monthly bills and see how little I have left over.  Then I'll cry and play Fallout Shelter. :p  I'll try to post tomorrow.  I mean to post everyday, but life happens.

Clunk

Yeah, that should be me on the floor.  I just finished my daily workouts.  It was cardio and leg day.  I also walked 8.7 miles before I came home and did those.  I felt great having done them, but also tired.  I haven't slept worth a darn lately and it's catching up with me.

Today, as I was walking, someone had to stop me to talk.  I wear earbuds so people WON'T talk to me.  They just don't seem to get it.  I am walking for fitness and health, not to socialize!  This used to happen all the time when I walked on the local trails too.  Headphones (or earbuds in my case) in means, do not talk to me.  How hard is that!? UGH!  Anyway!

On top of that, I stopped and picked up a couple of things on my way home. I got a package of hot dogs. Yeah, I know they aren't healthy, but they are cheap and I'm broke.  I realized after I got them home that they were expired. ~_~;  They smelled and tasted okay and I cooked the hell out of them, so I think I'll be okay.  I froze the rest and I'll just take them out as I use them in the next few days.  I hate that they were expired.  I usually check stuff like that, but for some reason today, I didn't. I would have taken them back, but I would have had to walk back up there and I didn't feel up to it.  I'm sure they are so full of preservatives that I'll be perfectly okay!  If you don't see me post in the next few days, I'm dead from the hot dogs. :p

So, now that my walk and workouts are done, I plan to relax.  I wanted to get my blog post in since I missed out on yesterdays. I have been playing Fallout Shelter a little too much. It's so addicting.  Stupid game. lol ALSO!  I saved up all of the Adventure Time special that aired last week and watched it all last night.  Stakes it was called and it was about Marceline.  It was really good.  I want to know who the hell is drawing these episodes.  Jake looked weird, Finn's hair was really shiny, and everyone else just looked a bit off.  The only character that looked 'normal' was LSP and that is saying something. :P Okay, enough fan girl babble.  I want to get some relaxing done and play more Fallout Shelter.

Pecans, pecans, and more pecans!

So, I have a pecan tree in my backyard.  Some years there are a lot of pecans, some years there are hardly any.  Today as I was leaving for my walk, I noticed quite a lot of them.  I decided when I got home to pick up some before doing my workouts.  I picked up a LOT of them and I didn't even get 5% of the area where they are covered.  There was an insane amount of them.  I am not complaining.  Free food is a good thing.  Also, free, healthy food!  I will go out tomorrow and pick up more.  I collected them in one of those reusable grocery bags.  It was 1/3 full.  Tomorrow I hope to fill a whole bag.  I want to get as many of them as I can because they last a long time and I can use them for all kinds of things. I also love to just shell and eat them!

After I finished picking up the pecans, I did my workouts.  Today was cardio and obliques.  That wasn't too bad, but I was tired afterward.  The walk, then the constant bending over to pick up pecans, and then the workouts was quite enough! :p  I didn't go out again.  I enjoyed a nice evening at home.

Of course I ended up playing Fallout Shelter way too much. ^^;  Oh well... it is fun.  So far I've built and destroyed several vaults.  I destroyed the very first one because I didn't set it up the way I wanted it because I was learning.  The second, I liked, but I had a infestation and most of my inhabitants died.  I didn't have the caps to revive them, so I just started with a new vault.  This one I'm going to take my time and set it up like I want and get it running well.  At least that is the plan!

Now, I want to get off the computer and relax.  I finished Bazaar of Bad Dreams last night.  It was good.  I also finished listening to Dreamcatcher on today's walk.  I loaded Full Dark, No Stars on there and I'll listen to it tomorrow.  It makes my walk seem to go by faster when I'm listening to a good book.

Such a nice day!

My walk today was terrific.  It was perfect weather.  It wasn't hot, it wasn't cold, it was just right.  The sun was shining and it felt so good to be out there.  I carried my DVR in a backpack and exchanged it at Comcast.  That weighed me down a bit, but the day was so nice, I couldn't let it bother me too much.

I got back here and found out it was back and arm day on the calendar. @_@; My poor back. :P  I did those and then put in a load of clothes to wash.  I was going to spend the evening at home relaxing and getting a few things done, but a friend invited me to her house for bbq chicken bites and cheese fries.  There was bacon, so she knew I was coming. lol  That was delicious.

After I post this, I'm grabbing my tablet and playing Fallout Shelter.  I downloaded it last night and it's so much fun. I'm learning as I go.  I can tell I shouldn't have downloaded it because I can tell I will want to play it a lot.  Oh well!  It's fun!

As for the DVR, I got it plugged in, activated, and set up.  I got several of my shows back in there set to record, but I still have a long list of ones to put in there.  I watch mainly the ID channel and their shows aren't on a regular schedule.  I just have the box set up to record all new episodes of whatever show it is that I watch and it does it.  I had just gotten the old box set up with everything when I had to swap it out.  I hope this one lasts years instead of months!  I am sad that I lost what was on the box, but hopefully some of it is available On Demand.  I'm just glad I have a Roku and was able to watch Netflix. Okay, enough rambling.  I want to get back to my vault. :D
