Half Price candy! Feed

Half price Halloween! :D

I needed a few things today from Dollar General.  I went and they were out of the main thing I went for so I walked next door to the Roses.  They had two of the things I needed, but no leftover Halloween candy. Boo! Dollar General had some, but it was only 25% off and they were low on selections.

After I got the things I needed at Roses, I stopped at CVS.  I remembered that last year I got a lot of great candy after Halloween.  They didn't have as good of a selection as last year, but I did get three bags of goodies.  I also got a bunch of Halloween goodies!  I took a picture of all my goodies. I got two cute trays, a pumpkin bucket, a light-up pumpkin spinner, a projection flashlight, a stamper set, cups, cupcake wrappers, and a gift bag that I forgot to put in the picture.  Oh, I also got a jack o lantern lotion/soap dispenser. :p . I love all my Halloween goodies.  The round tray is so adorable that I might go back and get another one.  I might pick up another of the lotion/soap thingees too.  They were only .50 each!

I got my NaNoWriMo session in this afternoon and did pretty well.  I left off at a good place to pick up tomorrow. I'm trying to do that so that when I start my writing each day, I'm ready to go in and I have the idea of what I want to write already worked out.  So far it's working well. I'm over the 7000 word mark now. Yay!

If you look into the pumpkin bucket, you'll see it's filled with my half-price candy! :p

Late start, but wow! :P

I didn't get to sit down and write for NaNo until just a while ago.  I hadn't planned to start so late today.  Why so late?  Well, let's see.  I walked as I always do.  I stopped by one place to see about after Halloween candy. :p . I got four bags of Halloween candy for 50% off. WHOO! lol . I got two bags of individual Reese's. YUM I also got two bags of this 'nut lovers' collection.  It has Mr. Goodbar, Hershey with Almond, Take 5, Paydays, and Reeses.  I was so happy to find this collection.  I usually don't find a collection of stuff that I like everything in the bag.  This is one where I like them all.I have a lot of goodies to snack on during NaNo. Yay!  It's funny that I got so many Reese's my main character, Sophie, LOVES peanut butter cups.  :P

So, I got my candy.  They also had some fuzzy 'at home' socks at the register for $1 a pair. I adore fuzzy socks, so I got three pair. lol . I came and had to sample my candy. :p . My friend texted and said he was coming straight from work and we'd go eat.  He said we'd eat quickly. I thought, great.  That way I can get home and write.  Well, we ate and it wasn't as quick as he said. lol He also had to pick up a few things at the dollar store.  He got me some chips and vitamins though.  Then, he got himself a milkshake.  When we does, he usually asks if I want a Frappe.  I did! :P . I rode with him to the grocery store.  He ran in for a couple of things and then ran him by his mom's.  He was in there a lot longer than he planned, so I didn't get some until much later than I had planned.  Oh well, I sat changed into comfy clothes and sat down.  I wrote 1942 words so that is just fine!  I don't think I'm going to add anymore tonight.  I need to pack up and put away my Halloween decorations and that is going to take a while..  lol . I have sooo many!

So, NaNo is off to a great start, I have snacks and I actually got a good start.  When I got home from my walk today, I finished re-reading the send half of book two.  I was ready to go when I sat down.  Now, I'm going to get my Halloween decorations put away.  Well, the ones that I don't keep up year round!  I also need to do my French, and then I'm going to fix dinner and read.  I started another true crime book last night.  This one is about Marie Hilley.  I've seen her story on Unsolved Mysteries and some of the true crime shows.  I'm looking forward to reading the book. She was a piece of work!

I used Scrivener for day one and I love it!  Bean is a great program, and I am grateful to have had it these last two years, but I know I'm going to enjoy Scrivener a lot!
