I love food Feed

Friday again...

So, yeah, it's Friday and a brand new month too.  I walked today and then came home and went to the gas station.  I got gas and then went to Family Dollar to get a few essentials.  I then went to Food Lion and bought way too many groceries. :p  I do have plenty of goodies though.  The granola bars I usually buy were on sale AND they started stocking the store brand version of them!  I got some of the regular ones and got some of the store brand ones. If they are just as good, I'll get those.  They were 1.50.  Not bad at all! I just hope they taste the same or close.

I just now did my stretching.  I wasn't really putting it off, I just have been so busy.   After groceries, I came home and fixed lunch after putting away all those groceries.  My store had water on sale, but they didn't have any.  I went to another location of this grocery store and they didn't have any on the shelf either.  I asked, and they had some!  They brought out a pallet of them and I got five.  They were 24 packs for 1.99. BUT  They were the special 28 bottle packs.  So, I got twenty extra bottles of water by buying five cases.  Yay!  While I waited for them to bring some out, I saw that their brand apple juice was on sale for .95.  I got two of those, too!  I love apple juice.  It's one of those things I love to have in the house but never think of when I'm in the store.

After leaving there, I ran over to Office Max to get way expensive printer ink!  I also picked up a box of their brand blue ball point pens.  I got a box some time ago and I absolutely LOVE these pens. I figured while I was there, I'd grab another box  They write so nicely.  I left there and was really close to Starbucks, but I didn't go.  I just came on home!  I did some things here and then it was time for dinner.  I ordered Chinese and went to CVS on the way.  I got some holiday cards and a few other things and then picked up my food.  I loooove tofu so that is what I got.  They fix it so delicious there!  I've been wanting some of their food for awhile  

I wrote out and paid all my bills.  After those and getting the things I needed, I'm totally broke.  Oh well.  I have plenty of groceries and I've had my one eat out meal for this month.  I'm good!  I also ordered my journal for 2018.  Every year I get a Moleskine for my journal for the year. I get a daily one that I use and it's Peanuts.  This  will be my fifth one.  The first year was a small one, the last three were the larger ones that are daily.  The first one was white, then there was another white one, the year after that was blue, this years is yellow and next years is orange/reddish.  I don't know why they keep changing the colors.  Oh well.  They are cute and I love Snoopy. ^_^

I'm not sleeping well at all lately, so I'm hoping to sleep well tonight.  Fingers crossed!


UGH!!!!!!!!

I gave in to my cravings today and ate too much. :(  I'm never going to get to my goal weight or my previous weight at this rate.  I really need to be more proactive with my health.  I keep telling myself I will and then I just don't. I suck! :(  I need to quit wanting the wrong kinds of food.  I have a lot of frozen fruit.  I need to start making smoothies.  I could substitute one of those when I want a snack or something bad for me.  I really need to do that.  I remember at one time, I saw a site that had 'premade' smoothie bags. You put your ingredients (that you use for a smoothie) in a freezer bag and then when you want a smoothie, you just toss the contents in the blender.  I need to do that!  I forget how much I love them.  I always have unsweetened almond milk in the house, so I have something to blend the fruit with.  I just need to get my butt to doing that.  If I do make a smoothie 'make ahead pack' I'll take pictures! :P

Today was stretch day on the calendar.  I love stretch day.  I still can't do a split.  I'm beginning to think I never will. :(  I just don't think my body is made to do it.  I can do Pigeon pose all damn day, but no splits.  Oh well, I'll keep trying!  


Friday again.

It was sunny this morning and then it got cloudy.  It began raining this afternoon and it's rained on and off since then.  I got my workouts in this afternoon and then had lunch.  A friend called and wanted me to run an errand with him so I did.  I was good and didn't get a shake at Cook out!  He got a peach shake at Cook out and asked if I wanted one.  I passed.  I love their orange push up shakes.  So good!  I decided I didn't need it.  If he'd offered Dairy Queen, I might not have been as good. lol

I went out to sit on my porch a bit.  While I was out there, it started to rain again.  It was light at first and then it started coming down hard.  The wind was blowing too.  It was actually pretty nice out there.  I stayed quite a while and then came back in.  I'm going to re-heat my last two pieces of leftover pizza from yesterday.  It's going to be yummy!  


Car troubles on a Sunday....

Well, technically I've been having car troubles for over two years now.  They are just worse today.  I had to run to the grocery store to pick up a few items that I needed.  It took awhile, but I finally got my car to start.  It's acting up worse than usual, so it didn't want to drive down to the grocery store. I got it there, though.  I debated on leaving it running, but I was afraid it would overheat. I turned it off and went in and got my groceries.  In line, I was freaking out beaause my keys weren't in my purse.  I thought I was going to have to call a friend to come get me, carry me home to get my spare keys and come back.  Scratch that.  The spare key was in my car as I had thought about leaving it running!  Luckily for me, I put my keys in the hand basket I was using so I was able to check out and got out to my car with no issues.  It started up fine and I was able to get home with no issues.  I was so happy!  I need to sit down and write pen pal lettters as I'm behind because of my beach trip.  I hope to get those done today and somehow get to the post office tomorrow to mail them and check my box for any new ones.  I might type up this batch.  I hate to send typed letters, but sometimes it's the easiest when I'm so behind!  Plus, I want to get them done so I can get them out. :)

OH! I have been using my Macbook since the beach trip and I noticed that my zero key doesn't work. Luckily there is a work around.  I can pull up an on screen keyboard and get it that way. Thank you Google! :D 

One more thing.  Did I mention that I got BACON at the store? I love me some bacon.  Bacon is life, bacon is good. lol


Sunday was food day! :p

Today I got in my workouts and I went for a walk.  That was nice.  Afterward, my friend decided to go to dinner at Western Sizzlin.  We went and I overate, but it was good!  I considered it my cheat meal because I haven't had one in a while.  The meal itself wasn't that bad.  Grilled chicken and a baked potato.l  It was the extras that did me in!  They have this cheesy bread things that are amazing.  I had too many of those, I also had a small cone of ice cream and a roll. Oh! Also, three chocolate chip cookies. LOL!  Yeah, totally overdid it, but a cheat meal IS a cheat meal!  It was good.  Did I mention that I had sour cream, cheese, and bacon bits on my potato?  

Anyway!  The workouts today were mainly abs.  That wasn't too bad, but at the same time it was! Tomorrow is a new month and the calendar is way different that usual.  That will be interesting, but I think I'll like it.  We'll see!  I can't believe that April is over and May is finally almost here.  The end of May is another beach trip! :D  We go at the end of May and come back in early June.  I can't wait!
