What the Junk?!

I am suffering from cool notebook syndrome.  My little Moleskine Cahiers are so nice I don't know how to go about using them! LOL! I have this issue with a lot of my notebooks.  I really want to make my TN a TN for learning French.  I just have to decide how to go about it.  I was thinking of one notebook for notes while taking lessons.  (Words I have trouble with, things I didn't understand, etc.) and the other two for certain things.  I just haven't decided on those things yet!  I DID put an address label in one of the cahiers.  Progress, I guess? 

In other news, I have been writing on my fic every day.  I figure it's good practice for NaNo.  I do need to do some more prep for NaNo but not too much.  I have the idea of the book in my head.  I just need to decide on what the main thing will be.  If my male skater is hurt, I have to research that.  If I do the stalking story, that will be easy peasy.  I read and watch enough true crime to have that one in the bag. LOL!  I will probably do the stalking and the injury in another book.  Who knows with me?

I have been playing Munzee every day for the past couple of weeks.  They have a Zeeops event going on and I've been able to do everything so far.  Tomorrow is the last day of this week's tasks.  I hope I'm able to do it and get the bonus. If you complete every day you get an extra perk at the end.  It's been fun and I've had a lot of fun deploying Munzees.  

I thought I would use a Traveler's notebook to enhance my French language studies and this is what I came up with.  I love it!  I'm using my latest TN in an A5 size with three Moleskine cahiers inside.  I hope to have something in each and use this to advance my learning.  I made it all Paris/French themed throughout.  Check it out here:

I got so much done today.  I washed a load of laundry yesterday and I put it away today.  I washed my bed linen and my hair.  I also washed a week's worth of dishes.  I swear I'm going to keep them washed as I go and it never happens. D'oh!  I've been playing special Zeeops in Munzee so I ran out today to do the daily 'mission'.  It's fun and I earn things to make playing more fun.  

Today, yes on Sunday, I got a package in the mail. It was a package from Amazon.  I decided that I wanted Moleskine cahiers in my new TN instead of the Moleskines volants.  The cahiers are pale yellow and so pretty.  I also printed some things to put in the 'dashboard' I made.  I'll take pictures in good lighting tomorrow.  I think it looks so pretty!

I received a new traveler's notebook in the mail today. :P. This one is bigger than a passport size.  It will hold small Moleskine cahiers and Field Note notebooks.  I made mine into a Munzee kit!  I can use it as that and if I want to change it up, carry it as a smaller tn in the future! I like the way I set it up.  I want to get another pocket type insert.  The one I'm using cam in another thing I got and I saved it. It fits perfectly in this little TN and I can store Munzees in there.  All the extras I have in an old Altoid tin.  I can add more to the TN as needed.  Neat, yes?

Of course, I had to give it a test run!  First I drove to a place where there was a virtual Munzee and captured it, then I rode to Ballou park and drove around trying to decide where to deploy a couple of Munzees.  I have deployed several in the park.  You can deploy one within 50 feet of someone else's and at least 150 feet from your own. (Or the other way around, I forget! LOL!) Anyway!  I was able to deploy two and that was fun.  I took pictures of the TN while there since I was outside is beautiful natural light.  Here are the pictures:

This is the TN itself.  I put it in the bag my Foxy came in to carry it in my purse.  It's such a cute size!

The inside.  I have a Moleskine Evernote notebook in there.  I am using it to keep track k of the Munzees as I deploy them to keep a record. (I also have a tracker in my bujo)

The little plastic guy that I'm using for now to hold my Munzees.  I used washi tape to secure everything since it's easy to remove and re-stick.  The blue post it has a list of ones that I need to repair that I've deployed in the past.

I think this will be a neat system and I can easily toss this TN in another bag if I go out without my  purse.  I think I'm going to love it.  I found this TN on Amazon for a very good price. It comes in brown, black, and dark brown (what I have).  Very nice quality. It came with one notebook and an extra band. Highly recommended!

If you have read my blog for a while, you know I love Evernote. I have Moleskine Evernote notebooks, en Evernote Jot stylus, and even some cool Evernote stickers.  I added one more thing to my collection today.  This awesome Evernote triangle messenger/laptop bag.  It was originally sold via Evernote Marketplace.  Sadly, they closed shop so it's hard to find anything except via eBay or other second hand methods.  Well, I found my holy grail of Evernote items.  (well, one of two.  There is still a shirt I must have!) Anyway!  I found two sellers with the Evernote commuter bag on eBay recently and I was able to snag one.  It's so cool!  It is very awesome. It takes up a small amount of space, but it has a lot of room inside!  It is made to sit upright on the desk or surface you are using.  I love it.  I can't wait for things to get back to normal so I can take it to Starbucks. :)

I took a few pictures to share. I couldn't do outside pictures because of the rain, but I tried my best to use the best lighting. I swear the lighting in my house SUCKS!  I should have filled the bag for one shot, but I didn't.  Here is the outside and two shots of inside:

That little divider in the last picture can be moved.  It originally came with two more of those, but I'm not complaining. I'm going to move that one down to the end and have it big enough to hold my laptop charger. I'll have the rest of the room for other stuff.  That is the one thing about most laptop bags, they aren't really designed for chargers! This has room for it and so much more.  I love that the front flap folds down so you can get to everything.  

The seller also tossed in an unexpected bonus.  A Moleskine travel journal!  Awesome sauce!  You know I love Moleskines!  Such a nice surprise. ^_^.

I would have taken more pictures, but the mosquitoes were on attack! ;p This is an A5 size Moleskine and the pages are blank.  I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to use it for, but I am going to use it for something. ^_^

So, I had some gift cards on Amazon and last night I went looking for something on my wish list to buy.  I also went looking at journals and stuff.  I found the prettiest white leather journal on there.  It's not set up as a TN, but I think I can convert it into one after I use the paper that is in it.  It's so pretty! 

I did buy something that was on my wish list.  It's a Monopoly themed Moleskine journal!  I love Monopoly and Moleskine, so it was a win/win.  I have another Monopoly Moleskine on my wish list AND a Simpsons one!  I could have gotten those too, but I saw this white leather journal and it was just so pretty. I'll share pictures tomorrow, of course!

Today has been pretty slow. I didn't really do much of anything.  I didn't even leave the house!  I didn't start a puzzle either.  I am not sure why I didn't really do anything today.  Oh well. Maybe I just needed a lazy day!  Hopefully, tomorrow I'll get more done!

So, we were under a heat advisory yesterday, today and they are including tomorrow.  I haven't gone out of my air conditioned room except for very few times.  I started a new puzzle today and got a good start on it.  I'm getting ever lower on puzzles.  I need to go get some!  

My Evernote Moleskine notebook came today and it's so nice! I haven't decided what I'm going to use it for yet.  I'm thinking maybe for my French, but I haven't decided just yet.  It's graph papered so I could use it as a bullet journal!  We'll see what I end up using it as.  I love Moleskine notebooks.  I've been using them for years.  My trip journal is actually a Moleskine notebook. ^_^.

Yeah, I'm not really wanting to post tonight either, but I didn't post yesterday, so I have to post at least a semi-decent post today.  I got in my walk.  It was a little colder, but not too bad, yet.  I got home and had time to relax a little bit before doing my workouts.  I did those and then cooled off and got dressed for going back out.  A friend picked me up and we went to eat.  We haven't been to this place in a long time, so that was nice.  We ate and then he needed to run by one other place and then he dropped me home.

I haven't done much of anything since I got home.  I have read on Not Always Right, I watched an episode or two of Unsolved Mysteries, and I played some Pocket Camp.  I'm really wanting to just go to bed.  I still have my French lesson to do.  After that, I might just crash.  Oh, I just remembered I have a load of clothes in the washer.  I need to toss those in the dryer. I  may not worry about actually getting them out of the dryer tonight.  As long as I get them dry, I can always fluff them tomorrow before getting them out.

My new 2018 Moleskine daily journal came today. It's Peanuts themed again  It's orange this year with blue trim.  The printing on the front and the comics inside the front and back cover are blue.  The ribbon and the elastic band are both blue, too.  It's pretty.  Here is a picture from the Moleskine website:

I like it.  Last years was yellow and instead of the smooth cover like this one is, it was rough.  This one is like every other Moleskine notebook I've ever had.  I prefer the smooth cover.  I love the blue trim on it!  

So, yeah, it's Friday and a brand new month too.  I walked today and then came home and went to the gas station.  I got gas and then went to Family Dollar to get a few essentials.  I then went to Food Lion and bought way too many groceries. :p  I do have plenty of goodies though.  The granola bars I usually buy were on sale AND they started stocking the store brand version of them!  I got some of the regular ones and got some of the store brand ones. If they are just as good, I'll get those.  They were 1.50.  Not bad at all! I just hope they taste the same or close.

I just now did my stretching.  I wasn't really putting it off, I just have been so busy.   After groceries, I came home and fixed lunch after putting away all those groceries.  My store had water on sale, but they didn't have any.  I went to another location of this grocery store and they didn't have any on the shelf either.  I asked, and they had some!  They brought out a pallet of them and I got five.  They were 24 packs for 1.99. BUT  They were the special 28 bottle packs.  So, I got twenty extra bottles of water by buying five cases.  Yay!  While I waited for them to bring some out, I saw that their brand apple juice was on sale for .95.  I got two of those, too!  I love apple juice.  It's one of those things I love to have in the house but never think of when I'm in the store.

After leaving there, I ran over to Office Max to get way expensive printer ink!  I also picked up a box of their brand blue ball point pens.  I got a box some time ago and I absolutely LOVE these pens. I figured while I was there, I'd grab another box  They write so nicely.  I left there and was really close to Starbucks, but I didn't go.  I just came on home!  I did some things here and then it was time for dinner.  I ordered Chinese and went to CVS on the way.  I got some holiday cards and a few other things and then picked up my food.  I loooove tofu so that is what I got.  They fix it so delicious there!  I've been wanting some of their food for awhile  

I wrote out and paid all my bills.  After those and getting the things I needed, I'm totally broke.  Oh well.  I have plenty of groceries and I've had my one eat out meal for this month.  I'm good!  I also ordered my journal for 2018.  Every year I get a Moleskine for my journal for the year. I get a daily one that I use and it's Peanuts.  This  will be my fifth one.  The first year was a small one, the last three were the larger ones that are daily.  The first one was white, then there was another white one, the year after that was blue, this years is yellow and next years is orange/reddish.  I don't know why they keep changing the colors.  Oh well.  They are cute and I love Snoopy. ^_^

I'm not sleeping well at all lately, so I'm hoping to sleep well tonight.  Fingers crossed!

Today I've been working on my bujo.  I have my October habit tracker done. ^^; Yes, I'm that much ahead. lol  I also did a two page beach memories spread.  I think it turned out nicely.  Here it is:

The lighting in my house sucks!  I need to start taking all my bujo pictures outside in natural light!  At the beach, I did a bullet journal video that I need to upload to my YouTube channel.  I actually shared my bujo on the beach. :)

Yes, I thought I'd make a real post today.  It is Saturday and it's really nice here today.  After my workouts, and lunch, I went to the park.  I wanted to Pokemon Go a bit.  I was running really low on Pokeballs, so I hit a bunch of stops.  I also walked around in the park a bit.  I made a new bujo video too!  I think this one is better than the one I did before.  I am uploading it now.  I have to review it and make sure it looks okay.  If so, I'll share it.  My new Moleskine is now completely set up and ready to go!  I can't wait to use it.

Yesterday, my friend and I went for a walk .  As we were heading towards the end of our walk, I spotted some beautiful daffodils.  I just had to pick a few to carry home.  All my daffs have already bloomed and gone for this year.  These are pretty cool.  There are three flowers on each stalk.  I took this picture of them:

Aren't they beautiful?  They now are on my desk making it look prettier.  After I finish this post, I'm going to relax for a bit until dinner time. I haven't decided what I want to fix for dinner yet.  Something good, I hope!  

I'm looking online for inspiration for weekly layouts for my new bujo.  I want to do a two page spread of two weeks.  I have been doing a two page, one week spread.  I want this bujo to last a long time as I've spent a lot of time setting it up so far.  I've found several different layouts that I like.  I just have to choose one and use it!  I have a couple that I'm going back and forth between.  I might do one for one side and the other for the other.  That way I can see them side by side and see how they work for me.  

In other news, I went for a walk tonight.  I just got home a few minutes ago.  My friend needed to run by a store and I went with him. Then he wanted to eat dinner, and it was time for my dinner!  We went to Cici's.   I probably ate a little more than I should have, but it was good!  I am now home and relaxing.  I'm going to put those two spreads in my bujo and see which one I like the best.  I'll be sure to share them soon. :)

I replied to my latest batch of pen pal letters today.  I went by Starbucks and got a Cascara latte and brought it home and enjoyed it while writing letters.  It's a good thing I decided not to go in and write letters today.  The place was packed and there was no where to sit!  I brought my delicious latte home and wrote out the letters that I had.  I decided to run to the post office so that I wouldn't have to fight for a parking spot tomorrow.  I mailed off the letters and then checked my box to find six more!  I mailed off five and came home with six!  That is pretty cool.

I also worked on my bullet journals today.  Both my current one and the new one.  I added a pretty blue ribbon to the new one and I did next week's layout for the current one.  Wait... I did that yesterday?  Oh well, it was done this weekend! In any case, I'm ready for the new week and I also have my new bujo completely set up except for one two page spread.  I'm still trying to decide what I want that spread to be!

Yes, it's Monday again.  I haven't done a lot today as I'm still a bit sick.  It was cold today and it rained some too.  I just stayed in with my tissues! lol  I hope to knock this mess out soon.  I despise to be sick.  I have been doing my daily workouts even though I've been sick.  I also created a new page (Well two page spread) in my new bujo today of Adventure Time quotes!  I can't draw, so I took a picture of Finn and Jake and put it under the page and traced them.  I can't even trace all that great, but I like the results.  I colored in Jake with a yellow colored pencil and I colored in Finn's shirt and shorts with two different blue pencils.  At the top of the other page, I put a little picture (also traced) of Jake.  I was going to do an episode tracker, but there are so many!  I thought a quote one would be cool and I wanted the little 'drawings'.
