My friend and I did not thrift today. I did go to Starbucks for national coffee day. :) Hurricane Ian is heading this way and we are supposed to get some rain and winds from it tomorrow. Probably nothing too bad, but I charged the M1 just in case we lose power. It was close to needing a change, so I did it a bit early just in case.
I'm starting off October with a post. I really need to get back into posting daily. I don't have a lot to share, though. :p I did go to Starbucks on National coffee day two days ago and also today for my first of the month trip! :) Both were free as I have stars left on my card. Good thing too, because I have no money on my card right now. I hope to still do a post-beach trip update soon. I want to share some of the goodies I got while thrifting. We have thrifted a few times since then and I have gotten a few things that I can share too. I love sharing my thrifting finds. They are so fun!
It's National Coffee Day! I guess you know where I went to celebrate. Yes, Starbucks! I hit the drive thru and got some hot delicious coffee. I asked the Barista as I was leaving when they'd allow dining in again and she said they already did! As long as you are wearing a mask when you are not eating or drinking. I'm psyched! I like to do at least one writing session in Starbucks during NaNoWriMo! :D
Boo on that! I woke up extremely early and took some pictures from the room. I went back to bed for a few hours and I walked on the sand one last time and took a few more pictures. I'll share those here. I have so much stuff I bought at the beach. I've taken pictures of everything, but I'll save it to share tomorrow. I'm extremely tired tonight. I have to put away the clothes from the trip I washed and my bed linen is in the wash and needs to be dried before I can go to bed tonight. D'oh! I'll tell about today's stuff tomorrow. :p
Yesterday was National Coffee day and I didn't even mention it in my blog post. Oops! I did have coffee yesterday, of course. I went to Starbucks in the afternoon to get a latte. It's not National Coffee day unless I go to Starbucks. :p . I went in for a change and got my drink. I wanted to see if I could get any new gift cards. I got the cute Halloween one and a couple of the eletronic load onces. They didn't have the cut out fall ones. The Barista said they didn't get any. I'll keep an eye out at other places. I found the cut out summer ones after the season at a Starbucks, so hopefully, I can still get a set of these.
I went on ebay today and listed some more anime cels. These are all a lot less than my Nuriko cel. I hope to sell some of them, but if not, that is okay too. I just want to get some money to help cover the bill that I had that I shouldn't have had to worry with! I should list some of my extra Starbucks cards. I could have some small listings or a huge lot. I might do that. I have the rest of the day to list some more things. I had some free listings and they end tomorrow. I figured now was the perfect time to list things!
I walked today even though I really didn't want to . I came home and relaxed a bit and then mowed the front lawn. I also carried branches to the street for tomorrow's pick up. I have already washed my bed linen and it's in the dryer. I haven't checked on it in a while. I already washed my hair today, too. The only thing that I have to do is put the bed linen back on the bed. I'm thinking of changing to my fall/winter comforter. I might do that. I need to go check and make sure it's okay. It's in a room that sometimes gets musty. I'll have to see if it smells fresh. If not, I'll have to air it out before I put it on the bed!
I'm going to do that after posting this and then check to see if the bed linen is ready to go back on the bed. I am already into book six and will probably finish it sometime today. I'm also checking in on Pocket Camp a lot because there is an event going on. It's a Halloween one and I adore Halloween. I want ALL the Halloween goodies!
