What the Junk?!

My walk today was nice, but it was a bit cooler than yesterday.  I got home and relaxed for a bit. I had thought I'd go to Starbucks, but my friend texted about going to Roma and getting pizza.  I am not going to turn down free pizza. lol We went and I have two slices for tomorrow.  (We split a pizza)   It's supposed to be nasty tomorrow, so I'm not planning on walking.  We are under a winter storm warning.  It's actually doing something outside right now, but I think it's only rain.  It's supposed to turn to snow and freezing rain and sleet and all that other good stuff overnight.  In any case, tomorrow will not be a walk day.

I'm still sore from moving my room around, but it's much better today.  It would have been even better if I had been able to take a hot bath.  Soaking in a hot bath is blessed relief when I'm sore.  It's also just nice.  Oh well.  I guess I'll get my water heater fixed by the summer. ~_~;   

I did a little more straightening in my room.  Just moving things around and organizing things better.  I like it.  Everything is so neat and in it's place.  I love it when everything is organized.  In moving my room around and cleaning under the bed, I found my light up Kindle case.  I found it at Goodwill some time ago and I couldn't figure out where the heck I put it.  It was stored in a box under my bed.  The case is pink leather and it has a built in light that you pull out when you need it.  My Kindle is one of the older ones and it has no backlight.  I like that about it.  The light will be handy if I want to read in low light. It's a nice case and it's pretty too. :p

I wanted to changed the area next to my desk.  I had an old cabinet that held VHS tapes and I put my printer and modem on the top of it. I wanted more room to organize stuff, so I went looking for something.  I got a little cubical. I put it together and realized I wanted another to sit beside it.  I went back and got another.  They were easy to put together and I love them!  It gives me a lot more room to store things in.

It looks exactly like this except I took the bluetooth keyboard off the bottom shelf and put it somewhere else.  I also put down a rug.  My floor is pretty messed up in that spot.  I plan to get some wood cleaner/conditioner and go over that spot.

I really like this little set.  I have a larger 9 opening cubical in another part of my room.   These things are handy.  You can use them for decorating or as a book shelf.  In my case, both! ^_^

I can sit and write a blog post for today.  It's been a long and busy one!  This morning, I got up and took the dogs out and then brought them in and had some glorious coffee.  I really needed it as I slept horribly last night.  I enjoyed every sip!  I did a few of my morning things and then had breakfast and more coffee! :P  I called my friend around 1:30 to check on their progress home.  They had just walked in their door!  I was surprised!  I jumped up, dressed, and walked the two dogs up.  Then, she drove me back down to get the crate and food that was left.  I rode with her to take that back and then I headed home.  I was going to do my workouts right then as it was almost time to do them, but I was tired and hot so I decided I'd get them in later.

I watched Sailor Moon until time for lunch.  I'm less than ten episodes from finishing! WAH!  I had a delicious lunch and then I went for a walk.  I walked down to Ballou Park.  I went in the park and then across the street into the shopping center.  I went in Dollar General to look around and then headed back.  I got a cute reusable drink cup in there that looks like a cola can.  It has  pink lid and there are gumballs on it.  I didn't really need it, but I bought it.  I thought it was on sale for 70% off, but it only rang up as 25% off.  I declined at first, but she tossed it in a hand basket to take back later and I felt bad for it so I bought it! LOL  Yeah, I'm weird.  In any case, it's now sitting here on my desk until I decide if I'm going to use it for drinks or for something else!

I ran out of the creamer that I really like today.  It's International Delight brand and the flavor is Caramel Macchiato.  When I bought it this month, I had a coupon for two of their products.  I got one of those and one of the one touch latte cans.  I also saw the store brand of the caramel creamer and decided to try it.  I did and it's almost exactly the same at the ID one. It's good and a bit cheaper.  That is always a good thing!

I came back from my walk and relaxed a bit.  It was really hot as I walked pretty fast.  I had my dinner and then watched some shows on HLN.  I did my workouts.  I washed two loads of clothes today and both are put away.  I also took a bath and washed my hair.  I'm all caught up on everything I needed to do today.  Go me!  Now, I'm just going to grab the Kindle and read until bedtime.  I hope to sleep well tonight.  I'll have the bed to myself, so that might help. You wouldn't think two little dogs would take up SO MUCH space! LOL!

I decided to give my Moleskine dotted journal one more try for Bullet journaling.  I had done a few pages in it before but one of my pens bled even though I had done a pen test.  I went back and checked and that particular pen had bled on the test page too! I decided to re-do the first few pages and see how it went.  I'm loving it!  I want to take a quick video as soon as it's all set up and ready to go.  I'm going to use my current Bujo until the end of this month and then start my new Bujo for April.  I already have my key, two Pokemon trackers, a book tracker, an expense tracker, a order tracker, and I have printed out some things to put in there.  I am going to leave a few pages for more trackers and then start the April pages.  I love how it looks so far and can't wait to share it with you.  I hope to get that done tomorrow. I worked a long time on it today and I have a bit more to do and then I'll have it ready to share.  So far, it's wonderful.  I think I'm going to love the dots!

Here is my cool messenger bag that I use for toting my supplies to Starbucks.  I have several patches on it including two of the Letter Writer's Alliance which I am a member of!  Visit them by clicking on their link in my sidebar.  It's a great organization.  I love being a part of it.  They send the triangular patch with your membership.  I saw that they had the larger patches too.  That is what gave me the idea of having a cool messenger bag with patches. :)  Here is my bag:

It's not complete yet.  I want to get a few more patches for it.  It's a good size bag and it's perfect for carrying my stuff.  It also makes an excellent overnight bag if needed.  It has two outside pockets that are large enough for a bottle of soda or water.  They are also perfect for carrying my reusable Starbucks tumbler.  There is one large inside pocket, a small zipper pocket and one divided pocket in the front.  I made it into one pocket.  I absolutely LOVE this bag!  I highly recommend it.  I got it at Amazon.  If you are interested, here is the link:

My Messenger bag of awesomeness!

I use two accordion folders.  One for stationary, and one for labels/stamps/fbs/misc  It helps keep everything neat and organized.  These are my two folders:

I keep these in my desk at home, they are easily portable.  I can pop them in my pen pal messenger bag and head out or just put some stationary or other necessaries in my bag and go.  I love being organized.  It makes pen palling a lot easier!
