What the Junk?!

Yes, it's Friday again.  I went for my walk today.  It was warm again and pretty nice.  The only bad thing was the wind.  It was blowing pretty fiercely again!  I got home and then had quite a while to relax before my workouts.  I did those, did my French, and then got ready to fix some lunch.  I did so and then pondered if I wanted to go to Starbucks.  I did want to go, but I didn't feel like going either!  I ended up not going.

Later, I did run to the post office.  I had two letters and considered going to Starbucks while I was out, but I didn't.  If they would just bring back the cascara syrup. I miss it so much. It was my favorite thing at Starbucks ever. ;_;  I still can't believe they discontinued it... again!

So, no Starbucks for me today from Starbucks, but I did have several cups of Pike Place roast at home.  I don't think I mentioned that one night last week, I wanted to check out a local convenience store to see what coffees they offered.  I went in and they had Cinnabon coffee.  They had little cups for samples so I tried it. I had tried something similar one year when we were leaving the beach.  This tasted like that did, so I got a 20oz cup and filled it up.  I looked EVERYWHERE for a lid and there were none!  I finally just had to put a soft drink cup lid over it until I could check out.  The lady said the lids were over next to the coffee, but they were not! I got it home, somehow, and I had some Starbucks venti/grande lids.  That fit so I put it on and enjoyed my coffee.  The coffee was pretty tasty, but it was so awkward trying to carry it and not spill it!  Sheesh!

Since I know they have other varieties, I'll go and try those on another occasion and I'll be sure to carry a lid with me just in case. :p  OH!  LOL Speaking of coffee, my friend and I went to Martinsville a few weeks ago. I mentioned this in a previous blog post.  I mentioned that after we ate, I got us both McDonald's macchiatos.  Well, I also told you that they were sort of bleh.  While we were driving home, she mentioned that they needed some more milk or something.  

I piped up and said, "I have creamer and honey in my purse!"  She cracked up.  I told her I loved coffee and always wanted to be prepared! LOL!  I have the honey packets in an Altoids tin and the creamers, they are powdered ones, in a little random mint tin.  I don't really use sweetener in my coffee anymore, but they are there if I need them!  I even have a little straw in there as a stirrer!  Yes, I love my coffee. :p  If I had the right container, I'd carry some of the little creamer cups! LOL!

Anyway!  Now that I've proven I'm a total nut job, I'll end this post for now.  I want to play some Pocket Camp and read more on my coffee book.  Mmmm, coffee!
