Weekend whimsy

So, today has been a regular day.  I got up and did my usual morning things.  Coffee was involved. :p  After breakfast, I started watching more Sailor Moon.  I'm now more than half way through season 1.  I just finished episode 26.  Makoto has arrived and Minako isn't too far behind!  I've been enjoying it.  I even mowed some on the lawn and did my workouts.  I watched an episode of Cold Case Files on Youtube too.  I didn't go anywhere today.  I decided after going out yesterday, I would just spend the day here today.  Plus, I had plenty to watch.  I'm so ready to get to season 2.  Everything really starts rolling then.  I just hope Hulu keeps it on until I can get through all 200 episodes!  I still have all my fansubs, but like I said, the quality on some of them is horrible.  Plus it's VHS! :P

I am going to do my French lesson on Duolingo, and then I think I'll settle in and relax a bit before bedtime.  I think I'll save watching more episodes until tomorrow.  I really need to write pen pal letters.  I planned to do that tonight, but I got so wrapped up in Sailor Moon, I sort of let it slip.  Oops!  Well, I'll try to get them written tomorrow and then get them mailed. I need to check my box for new ones.  I sent myself a post card while at the beach and I sent it to my po box and not my home address, so I should have at least that waiting for me. ^_^

Friday again.

It was sunny this morning and then it got cloudy.  It began raining this afternoon and it's rained on and off since then.  I got my workouts in this afternoon and then had lunch.  A friend called and wanted me to run an errand with him so I did.  I was good and didn't get a shake at Cook out!  He got a peach shake at Cook out and asked if I wanted one.  I passed.  I love their orange push up shakes.  So good!  I decided I didn't need it.  If he'd offered Dairy Queen, I might not have been as good. lol

I went out to sit on my porch a bit.  While I was out there, it started to rain again.  It was light at first and then it started coming down hard.  The wind was blowing too.  It was actually pretty nice out there.  I stayed quite a while and then came back in.  I'm going to re-heat my last two pieces of leftover pizza from yesterday.  It's going to be yummy!  

Another walk?

Yes, I went for another walk today.  It was fun, but it was a lot harder than yesterday.  I was sore from the walk yesterday.  Plus my abs were feeling the #1000abchallenge I did yesterday!  My friend has other plans tomorrow, so we probably won't walk tomorrow.  I might try and go myself. I'm not sure yet.  It was nice to be walking again!

I did my workouts today and except for the cardio video, they were all upper body.  That was good because everything else was sore. lol  I need to do some work on my bullet journal, and then I think I'm going to soak in a hot tub of water and then relax for the rest of the evening.  I ate dinner a bit early tonight because I was really hungry after walking.  I'll probably snack on a Luna bar later.  I have a few of the white chocolate macadamia ones left.  They are so GOOD!

Goodbye February!

It's the last day of February and that means that tomorrow is March.  Spring is definitely coming soon!  It's been really nice here lately.  Today it was quite warm and nice.  It's been in the 60's and 70's here lately.  Very unseasonable, but I'm not complaining!  I am so ready for the warm weather.  I am not a fan of winter!

I see when checking my stats, that only this blog gets visitors.  My bullet journal blog and my pen pal blog haven't been visited.  I am thinking of consolidating those blogs into this one and just have it all in one place.  At least here, someone might see those posts! :)  I wonder if there is a simple way to do that?  I'd like to just have them all move over for me.  That would make life easier!

Tomorrow, I start a new stretch project with Blogilates!  Cassey has a #stretchrevolution event for March. I've been working on my stretching on my own for the past several weeks.  I'd like to be able to get into splits.  I'm very happy to begin this program tomorrow.  I'll keep on working on my flexibility until I can do the splits!  I still have quite a bit of space between myself and the floor when trying, but I can see improvement.  I am definitely getting more flexible!

I went to the post office yesterday and I had two letters.  One from a brand new pen pal and one from one that I sent out a new pal letter to recently.  It's always great to get new pals.  I'm going to write letters either tonight or tomorrow.  I am not sure which, yet.  

I guess that is all for now.  I hope to continue to post here more often.  If I can get my other blogs merged into this one, you'll see that soon! 

Monday, Monday....

I got in my walk today.  It wasn't too hot, so that was nice.  It still was too hot to be walking. I did it anyway!  I came home and did all but one of my workouts.  I ate lunch and did one more.  I would have gotten out the weed eater and gotten some more done, but the cord won't go any further than it did yesterday.  Phooey!  Oh well.  A friend said she'd come down and get that part with her riding lawn mower.  She didn't make it today, though.  Hopefully tomorrow. 

I did give my bathroom a good cleaning.  It looks so much better!  I scrubbed everything.  I changed the rug and swept the floor.  I should have mopped, but I never got around to it.  It looks great in there.  I've been needing to do it for a while now.  

I hadn't posted my last four days workouts to Insta.  I finally did that today.  I did Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and today's. I just never post them.  I did that in a single post today.  I also posted a few pictures of other stuff.  I really need to post more things to Insta than just my workouts!  It's mainly a fitness account though.  Most of my followers are fellow Popsters. :)

I didn't get any mail today.  That was disappointing.  I only have two letters for Wednesday.  Hopefully I'll get a few more between now and then.  I feel like everyone has stopped writing.  I think I'm just impatient and want letters NOW! lol   Hopefully some letters will come soon.  I'd love to get a few new pals, too.  It seems like every time I get a new pal, it's an inmate. I don't mind writing inmates, it's just that we usually don't have a lot in common!  They do write a lot faster than everyone else though.  Oh well, I guess I'll close this post.  I think I'm going to one of my pen pal sites and see if anyone interesting has been added recently. 

Goodbye March!

It's hard to believe that March is leaving and April is coming.  I hope that the weather continues to stay nice on until about December!  I walked today and it was in the mid 70's.  That was nice.  It was overcast for most of my walk.  It kept looking like it was going to rain, but it never did.  I was glad about that!

I came home and did my workouts.  It was all cardio today. @_@  I did those and then sat down to eat.  Then, I got on the computer for a bit.  I saw that Cassey had released April's calendar, so I printed that out so I'd be ready for tomorrow.  Tomorrow is Friday so that is always rest day on her calendars.  It's usually just a couple of stretch videos and a cheap clean eats video.  It's nice to have the rest days!  I am tempted to take the day off from walking, but I know if I do, I'll just regret it.  I am not sure what the weather is going to be like.

I walked to a friend's house for dinner and as I was coming home, it was sprinkling a bit.  I'm not sure if that is supposed to continue.  If it's really rainy tomorrow, I might just skip my walk!  I don't know though.  It's not good to start a new month by skipping my walk!


Manic Monday!

Today the weather was sunny and it was over 70!  It was so nice!  I got in a great walk.  I came home and did three workouts.  I ate lunch and did two more.  It was a day of really hard workouts.  First of all, there was a new video, Extreme Abs 3.  Plus, two other workouts had ab exercises in them.  This wouldn't be so bad, but tomorrow is ab day. AUGH! lol  I will probably be crying tomorrow. :P  I was so glad when I finished my workouts!  One workout was the "Whoa Whoa workout"  I still don't think I'm doing the first move in it right.  Another one was the Ultimate Hot body workout which is a mashup of FOUR different song challenges in.  Did I mention that the "Up Down Plank Jack" challenge was on today's calendar too?  Yeah, I survived, but barely!

After finishing up, I sat down at the computer to relax.  A friend called and said she needed to run to the vets to pick up some meds for her dog.  She wanted to know if I wanted to ride with her.  I did, so we headed out.  The waiting room was full of cute dogs and puppies! ^_____________________________________^  <------ Yeah, that was my face.  I swear, I wanted to just lie in the floor and yell, "Release the hounds!!!!" :D  Such a bunch of cutie pies!

After we got done with my friend's errands, she drove me by Kmart to pick up my prescription.  That saves me a walk down there. Yay!  I went back to her house and made a batch of chocolate chip cookies. ^^;  Yes, I ate some.  No, I don't feel bad. Well... maybe a little, but after today's workouts, I deserved cookies!  I am going to get a few more things done and then crash.  I'm still working on reading the book about BTK, but I get so tired, that I never get very far.  It's getting into the good parts now too!


So, let me talk about Blogilates.  Cassey Ho started on YouTube in 2009 with a fitness video, more came and now six years later, she is one of the most popular fitness gurus on YouTube.  She also has a clothing line, a book, and much more!  She has a great program that anyone can follow.  I'm one of her older Popster.  She does something called PopPilates.  It's Pilates on turbo! :)

What I love about Cassey is she doesn't get critical if you can't do something.  She says we are all on our own fitness journey.  I love that there are so many things in her videos that I can do.  There are also some things I can't.  A lot of times she provides modifications for most every move she does.  I love that sometimes the 'hard' moves I can do with ease.  I love that when it's something I can't do, there is a modification for it.  She is so inspirational.  She makes me feel better about myself and my abilities. It gives me a feeling of satisfaction when I can complete a workout in full.

She also loves her Popsters and checks out our posts on social media.  She is truly a great person.  I feel like I'm not expressing myself when it comes to how much I appreciate Cassey.
