What the Junk?!

I changed the background and colors of the blog again.  I just can't seem to stick with one thing.  I like this for now. I'm not sure how I'll feel about it tomorrow, though. LOL!  Who knows. :P . 

I walked today and it wasn't as hot as it's been.  It was a bit overcast at times, but it didn't rain.  I hope it stays like it is. It's warm, but not too bad and it makes walking so much nicer.  I came home and had time to relax and cool down before doing my workouts.  It was leg day.  That wasn't too bad.  I did those and then my French lesson and then did a few things on the MBP and then fixed lunch.  It's almost time to fix dinner and I'm ready now! LOL!  I will fix something after I post this.  I try to eat my supper after 8pm each night.  Since I stay up so late, that keeps me from getting so hungry later in the evening and snacking.

I may go to Starbucks tomorrow and spend some time, and I may not.  I haven't decided yet.  I just hope that if I do decide to go I can get a table.  That is always a struggle.  I haven't been in such a long time.  I'm hoping to go time it and go at the right time to get a place to sit that I like and stay awhile.  It also won't hurt to have a latte. :p . I can always use a Cascara latte. :D

So, I got in my regular walk today. I stopped at CVS and got a book of stamps before heading home.  I didn't do my workouts after I got home as usual.  Instead, I went to the grocery store.  I spent more than I planned, but I got a lot of goodies.  I came home and put those away.  My friend wanted to eat and walk again!  I was surprised because he was pretty tired last night. :p

We rode to Eden NC to a trail over there.  First we ate at a little pizza place called Stella's pizza. It was quite good.  They are really just take out/delivery, but they had one booth inside and we ate in.  It was some damn good pizza!  After that, we headed to Goodwill so we wouldn't miss it before they closed.  I found a brand new pack of Staedler colored pencils for .49!  I also found a restaurant notebook, some assorted stationery, and a few other things.  The notebook is cool. You can keep track of restaurants you visit.  The stationery was some envelopes, some cute little cards and various other things.  Perfect for a pen pal person!  I also found a Fossil brand black leather purse. It's so nice and I paid a whole 1.49 for it! Yes, ONE DOLLAR and forty nine cents! WHOO!  I love a good bargain.  I also got a vintage candle trimmer thing.  You use it on the bottom of a candle so it will fit in a candle holder.  I also got a nice new wallet with the $35 price tag still on it for $2.  And, I found a Weight Watchers kit.  It's got two books on the point system and a little journal.  It's pretty cool.  Those things are really expensive brand new and I didn't have to join WW! LOL

All in all, it was a good trip to Goodwill.  After that, we went to the trail.  Almost this time last year, a tornado went through that trail and there was a lot of damage to trees.  They have a plaque about it.  The trail was re-directed at one point from the original trail!  We got through walking and headed back.

I got home and did my workouts. It was stretch day and it felt so good to stretch!  I am now going to relax until bed time as I'm extremely tired.  I need to catch up my receipts from today in my checkbook and see how much damage I did! :P  OH! I also received in the mail today my very first coffee grinder.  I got some whole bean coffee at the grocery store.  I am still working on making the perfect cup.  I made my first cup tonight and it was pretty good, but I want to experiment and see what I can come up with.  The grinder is easy to use and makes the kitchen smell good!

Well, it's basically the same layout, I just added a banner and a background.  I see that the background isn't completely seamless.  I've tried a lot of different ones and this is my favorite thus far.  I had tons of seamless backgrounds in a folder on my computer from my Tumblr days.  I still have a Tumblr, I just haven't changed the layouts there in a while.  It's so hard to find good free seamless tiled backgrounds!

I like this at the moment, but I might not like it tomorrow.  We'll see.  As for today, I've been busy.  I got in my walk and then I changed into my jeans and headed to do my first of the month errands.  I went to Family Dollar and then got gas, I went to Starbucks and got a latte and then to Food Lion to get groceries.  I stopped at CVS since that is where my prescriptions will be since Kmart closed and then came home and put everything away.  I realized when I got here that I got everything I needed to make sandwiches except for the bread!  I ran back to the store and got some bread.  I was lazy and picked up my lunch at McDonald's.  I haven't eaten there in a while so that wasn't bad at all. The fries were FRESH! :D

I came home and I've been doing things around the house.  I just finished my workouts a while ago and I've been working on the layout of my blog ever since.  I like it so far.  I'm probably going to try to find a more seamless background.  I really like this one and wish I could remember where the heck I got it!  I still have my French lessons to do..  OH! I finally ordered a Leuchtturm dotted notebook today! :D  I also signed up for Amazon Prime since they now have it where you can pay monthly.  I paid an extra $4 for overnight delivery.  I can't wait to set up my new bullet journal.  This is going to be my 2018 one.  I was going to continue with my Moleskine, but I decided to start doing a bujo a year.  I can't wait to see if all the hype about Leuchtturm is legit! :D

I was working on doing some layout changes on the blog earlier, but it was being difficult. I'm back to the old layout for the moment.  I am going to try to work on it again another day.  It was just being so annoying.  I already had a stressful day.  I didn't need any extra! 

Right now, I'm going to finish up my business on the computer and then play some Pocket Camp to de-stress!  It's so fun and I haven't gotten to play as much as usual today.  Plus, my tree house should be pretty close to being built. ^___^

Yeah, I totally changed the layout today. I like this one a lot better.  For some reason the links at the top will only let me show four, so I put the Typepad about page and the feed link in the sidebar.  I really like this layout.  The banner picture is from Murrells Inlet South Carolina along the Marshwalk.  My friend and I usually walk along it when we visit the Dead Dog Saloon.  I liked this picture that I took in the evening after our visit.  

I hope to keep this layout for a while.  I can either do a dark background or a light one. I prefer the light one, I think.  What do you think?

In other news, I'm pup sitting.  Wait.... I told you this yesterday! :P  These are two very small dogs, so WHY did I not have any room on my bed last night?! lol  Seriously!  Crazy little pups.  They are good dogs though so that is nice.  I hate to tell their peeps that they are going to be uber spoiled when they get home. :P

I crated them when I did today's workouts.  I didn't want to have to worry about them being underfoot!  They watched me for a bit like I was crazy and then went to sleep. lol  It was kind of hilarious.  I got my workouts done and then took them outside.  I had a delicious lunch with delicious coffee.  Now I'm going to relax in my room with the air conditioner.  I need to run up to my friend's house later and check on the house.  Make sure it's locked tight and everything looks okay.  I'll probably wait until a bit later to do that.  For now, I want to relax.  Well, what I really want is to go to Starbucks and get a cascara latte. lol  I did a Star dash recently with the Starbucks app and I have a free drink on my app. :D  I love star dash times because you can earn a free drink quickly!  

Okay, I'm going to relax for a bit.  I didn't sleep well at all last night because one, it was too hot, and two, I had two heaters on my bed... I mean two dogs on my bed lol  Hopefully we can all get situated tonight and I'll sleep well.  Wish me luck!

PS I added my Pinterest feed to the sidebar but it's not showing up.  Well... if I choose just ONE picture, that will show up, but if I want to show more, nope.  I'll try to get it worked out.  I'll leave it for now.

I have been meaning to make a good post for days.  I keep waiting until the last minute to get on here and by then, I'm too tired to post!  I am going to post now, though.  I got in my walk today.  It was overcast when I started.  It actually rained for a bit.  It stopped within about 20 minutes.  The sun came out and it got humid.  BLEAH!  I hate humidity!  I got my walk finished and did my workouts.  I ate lunch and then relaxed for a bit.  I had totally forgotten I had a manual push mower.  I got it out and used it on the part of the lawn I couldn't get to with the weed eater.  Unfortunately, it's VERY HARD to use the push mower as it's an old one that is very heavy. It also stops on any twig it hits.  It almost throws me over the push bars!  It took forever and I was only able to get a very small part.  My friend still didn't come to help. ~_~:

I did change my layout AGAIN.  Check it out and let me know what you think.  I love the banner picture.  It's one of the pictures I took this year on my beach trip.  I love the little walkways to the beach.  I took many pictures of several of them.  This was one of my favorite pictures.  I like this layout.  Hopefully I'll stick with it awhile.  I wish I could have customized it a bit more.  Oh well!

Yeah, this wasn't the most interesting post.  I will get myself to post earlier.  Of course tomorrow is Starbucks day, so it will be a little later.  I only have two letters as of now.  I surely hope there are some letters in my mailbox tomorrow!  I want to have more than two to write.  If I don't get any more, I guess I'll just carry one of my journals and write in it. 

I found a pretty colorful polka dot background so I change the colors of the blog again. I love it for the moment.  I'll probably be ready to change it in a few days. :p  For now, it's pretty and I like it!

I got in my walk, it was hot out there!  I got home and did my workouts.  I ate lunch and then did a few things I needed.  A friend brought me a nice 'new' television.  It's got a nice picture and the sound is great.  I was on my way to another friend's house when he came, so after he left, I headed out.

It was supposed to be a birthday dinner for my friend's mom.  The lady that usually comes with her was sick, so she wanted to wait until she could come too.  We'll just have the dinner another day.  I ended up staying for dinner.  There was grilled chicken and it was delicious.  There may have been cupcakes too. ^^;

So, I'm home now.  I have a few things to do and then I'm going to relax before bedtime.  I am so tired tonight.  I didn't sleep as well as I'd have liked last night.  I hope to make up for that tonight!

I actually had some letters today. Yay!  I got two letters from my pen pals.  Now I have three for my trip to Starbucks on Wednesday evening.  Hopefully I'll get a few more before then.  I actually did go to Starbucks tonight.  I needed to pick up a gift card for my sister's birthday this week.  I was tempted to stay, but I didn't have any of my supplies with me.

I got in my walk, workouts, and then I went got my recycling together.  I went by the recycle center and dropped off all my stuff.  I left there and went to Starbucks to get the gift card.  I got it and headed home.  I have been playing with my current Typepad theme.  I'm keeping the theme, I just changed the colors a bit.  It's now blue. My favorite color!  What do you think?  I like it!

I got in my walk and workouts today.   I then came home and started messing around with my blog.  I wanted something different.  I took a break when I went to a friend's house for a bit.  I came back home and started working on my blog again.  I think I like this layout.  I love the lemon and lime background.  I thought that was cute!  The colors are bright and pretty too.  I just wish I could change the size of the space at the top.  Other than that, I love it.  I think it looks pretty nice.  I wish Typepad had more layouts and options. Oh well. It's a great place to have a blog anyway.
