What the Junk?!

Yeah, I didn't do much of anything today.  It was raining off and on all day so I didn't get to walk.  I stayed in and watched vintage game shows all day. :P I went out in the afternoon to get gas since I my gas light came on the last time I drove it.  I got that done so I won't have to worry about that.  Now, if I need to run out for something, I won't have to worry about running out of gas.  I didn't get a lot, but it is enough to get me through until next month.  I don't plan to drive much the rest of this month as the beach trip is coming up in two weeks. YAY!  Well, two weeks and two days from today. I'm so ready to be there.  I so wish I could just stay and never come back.

So, it was pouring rain today at my usual walk time so I didn't get to walk.  I decided since I couldn't walk, I'd spend a nice lazy day in bed and I did. lol . I didn't really sleep, just enjoyed being in bed with the phone and iPad. :p . After I finally got my booty up, I made up the bed and pulled out the puzzle.  I got a lot done on it today.  The majority of the puzzle that isn't sky is done.  Sadly, the puzzle is mostly sky. D'oh!  I am missing one piece from the lighthouse. It's in the box somewhere, I have gone through it a few times and missed it.  I know it's there.  I'll eventually find it. lol . I like what I've done so far.  Here is the puzzle at the present moment:

I'll work on the darker blue at the top next and then get to the rest of the sky.  So far it hasn't been too bad, but the pieces are so weirdly cut!  It makes working it a bit harder than a usual puzzle.  I also wish I had more room to spread out more pieces.  Having them laid out helps a lot when working a puzzle. I am going to try to find that one piece in the lighthouse and possibly the two down the side and then stop for tonight. I hope to get to walk tomorrow.  They are calling for rain tomorrow, too, but hopefully it will be before or after my walk time!

I didn't forget to post yesterday, I just didn't get around to it.  It rained yesterday and today, so no walks for me.  It's not supposed rain tomorrow, so I should be a go for walking!  I don't want to miss another day.  I didn't feel all that great yesterday or today, so the two days off were kind of nice.  My foot has been giving me some issues again so two days rest was probably a good thing.

I didn't make it to Starbucks this weekend like I planned.  I might go one night this week and carry my laptop and letters.  We'll see how that goes.  I haven't been inside to stay in so long. I'm going to be so disappointed if I go over there and can't find anywhere to sit!  I am hoping it will be like when I went over Wednesday night.  

Yeah, I almost forgot to post to my blog today.  Sorry, it’s just been one of those days.  I left for my walk today and my friend was  outside with Cocoa, her mini Doxie.  I adore Cocoa and don’t get to see her enough, so I stopped!  I got to love on my little Cocoa for quite a while.  I also got to see my favorite German Shepard, Daisy!  I decided to just skip my walk and came back home.  I’ve been a lazy slug all day. I’ve played bingo on the iPad and watched The Addam’s Family. Lol

Today I have been useless.  That is all.

Yeah, totally useless. I didn't walk, I didn't workout, I didn't do anything.  Phooey!  I thought it was going pour rain and storm during my walk time. It ended up not doing anything. ~_~;  It did rain this evening, but that was much later.  Hopefully tomorrow I will get in my walk and my workouts.  I really hate missing them.  I was going to walk later this evening, but a friend and I went out for a bit and it was too late when I got home to get in a walk before dark.

We went to Goodwill and I got an old Monopoly set.  I collect Monopoly sets.  I also got a cute little organizer thingee that I saw the last time I was in there.  I was glad it was still there! It's now mine and on my wall.  It's cute! 

I got both of these for $5 and change.  Not bad.  The Monopoly set is complete, too! I'm pretty sure I had this acutal one when I was a child, but I don't know what happened to it.  I was happy to see this.  I tend to buy any Monopoly sets I see in thrift stores.  I like to give them a good home. ^_^
