Saturday Survival! :p

So, it was nice an sunny when I got up today.  I nice change from yesterday.  I went for my walk and it was quite nice.  It was in the low 60's so it wasn't cold and it wasn't hot.  Just perfect!  I came home and relaxed a bit.  I saw where my new glasses were to be delivered today. Yay! I didn't think they were coming until Monday.  Back earlier this year when I bought new glasses to replace the ones I broke, I wanted a pair just like the ones I had.  They are just about my favorite glasses ever.  I tried several times and they were always out of stock.  I was afraid they'd been discontinued, but I still had hope.  The other day on a whim, I checked my old orders on Zenni and instead of 'reorder' by that pair being greyed out, it was clickable.  I clicked on it and I was able to order a pair of my favorites.  Yay! I can't wait until tomorrow to wear them.  I always(even when it's the same prescription)  save a new pair of glasses until I wake up the next day so that my eyes are not having the adjust from the old pair to the new pair.  The ones I have now will be kept as a backup pair.  It will be good to have a backup pair.  As I'm writing this, I feel as if I've posted about this earlier in my blog.  If so, sorry!

I finished another book today and started on yet another. LOL . I am on a roll.  I read a book about Zodiac.  I've always been fascinated by the Zodiac killings.  It's about a guy who thinks his dad was Zodiac.  Pretty compelling and interesting read.  I read it pretty damn quick!  I started on another true crime book.  I discovered Hoopla through my local library and there are so many true crime books available!  I can't use my Kindle for them, but I can read on my phone or my tablet.  I don't really like the way the books load on the tablet, but hey, it's free books to read!  The library has books on Overdrive . which I can use with my Kindle, but they have a very limited selection of true crime.  I was amazed at how much stuff popped up on Hoopla.  If I ever get an Amazon Fire, I can read on that.  I think I would like that. I had a Fire for a few days before I realized I couldn't load Google Play on it.  The screen was nice.  I wouldn't mine having one for reading on Hoopla.  I prefer reading ebooks on my Kindle because the screen looks more like the page of an actual book.

So, after my walk, I've mainly spent my Saturday reading.  I am currently cooking dinner.  I decided I wanted something different tonight, so I put the last few frozen chicken breasts in the oven to cook.  I should have put them in earlier, but oh well!  They are marinated in honey teriyaki sauce.  Yum! I can't wait to dig in.  I'll cook some rice to go with them and have a delicious meal!

I re-read the end of my book two today.  I sort of left it hanging.  It seems like there could have been more.  I'm trying to decide if I want to add a few lines to it and then start fresh with book three.  The end of book two has given me the idea for the main part of book three.  I think I could leave book two where I did, but I am not sure.  Decisions, decisions!  I need to hurry up with them.  NaNo starts in 5 days. AHHHHH!
